FIFA will allow Pride flags at the Egypt vs. Iran World Cup match despite both nations calling for them to be banned. “The FIFA World Cup is an inclusive event that welcomes people from all backgrounds. Fans of all sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome at matches and events.”

@JeezyJoee @songbirdd99 @PopBase No. The last weekend in June has been Seattles pride weekend for years. The city is under no obligation to accommodate visitors

@songbirdd99 @PopBase The stadium will be full of Egyptians and Iranians. The fans don’t want it, the teams don’t want it, the players don’t want it, and the countries don’t want it. I’m pretty sure even gay people don’t want it in that setting and won’t feel represented Pick a better match to do it.

@PopBase They literally chose the only match tomorrow that includes 2 Muslim sides and decided to make it the “pride” match. Nobody wants this…. Just rage-baiting for no reason, there won't be any gay fans at the Iran vs Egypt match. Just another case of performative virtue-signaling

While the results did not go as we had hoped, I am deeply grateful to the voters, volunteers, donors, and supporters who stood with our conservative vision for a stronger Utah. Their hard work, prayers, and commitment to putting families and freedom first made this campaign possible. Together, we have moved District 16 and our state meaningfully to the right. Over the past four years, I was proud to help pass more than twenty bills advancing election integrity, immigration enforcement, tax relief, parental rights in education, pro-life protections, and policies that prioritize Utah families over federal overreach and radical ideologies. These accomplishments reflect the values we share limited government, personal responsibility, and faith in God and our communities. To my opponent Bob, I wish him the very best as he takes on this important role. Serving the people of District 16 is an honor, and I pray he will do so with integrity and a focus on what truly matters most. I now look forward to spending more precious time with my wife Kaitlin, our children, the greatest blessings in my life. I will continue to serve our community in other ways and remain an active voice for the conservative principles that make Utah exceptional.

Dear Lieu: These laws. So as a lawyer you look pretty stupid here. But you always do. Primarily 18 U.S.C. § 1361 (Destruction of Government Property), often charged as a misdemeanor in these cases. justice.gov The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is federal property under the National Park Service (part of the Department of the Interior) on the National Mall. Willfully injuring, defacing, removing, or damaging any U.S. government property—or attempting to—violates this statute. thefederalcriminalattorneys.com

Just got into a 20 minute argument with this cop about FSD. He says in his NHTSA Tesla Safety class he learned you can pick your speed. I trying to tell him I CANNOT, only the speed profile. So sometimes the car goes like 5 under or 10 over it’s extremely inaccurate.

@WallensteinFan @chickenburritod @reduzivert9 He is making a vague claim. How is asking for clarification a bad thing? I would hate to assume he is making ridiculous, bigoted comments - though that is my initial guess. Better to ask clarification and not assume - wait for proof

@LeeConger2 @AlexMit47812339 @deuceohsixx You know that Seattle is a terminus for Alaska cruises right? Meaning that this is where the passengers do, in fact, disembark the ship. Many spend a day or two exploring the city

@ISawGold @reduzivert9 For very obvious reasons I am not posting any more specifics on where my home is. Also, 2021-2022 were 4-5 years ago

@Hawk8710 @reduzivert9 Owned a home in Ballard for 20 years means you’re not that near the core and you’ve got selective memory. You’re willing to overlook in 2021-2022 when nearly every single business had a smashed window. You probably don’t even hear the screaming at night.

@Hawk8710 @reduzivert9 Between 2022 and 2024 there was a 15-year spike of violent and property crime that put it on par with the 80s. That spike is now subsiding. I walk my dog at night in Ballard and there’s like a 10% on any given night I’m going to see someone try to steal or break something.

@WallensteinFan @chickenburritod @reduzivert9 So you are arguing that reduced demand for office space has killed the city? Not the reality that companies simply use less office space than they used to. Do explain how you think the city is dying and yet growing in population?

@Hawk8710 @WallensteinFan @reduzivert9 You can find any metric to prove that point just as I could do the same for the opposite. But I know for 100% fact that when I had XC races at Woodland Park in the early 2000's homeless and needles were not on the concern radar. And restaurants were appropriately priced.

@Hawk8710 @MrJCB20 @reduzivert9 Seattles only claim to “major city” status 40 years ago was geography. But regardless, I’m not sure what that has to do with my point.

@BonitasMomToo @carlatcole I could easily afford to live in a neighborhood like this. Hell, I would probably save money by doing so. But - it sounds awful

@carlatcole They hate it because they can't have it. 🤷 Seriously, if those Sunset & Richmond houses were going for $50k right now all those people bitching right now would HAPPILY snag one up. It's not the homes they hate. It's not the neighborhoods. It's the fact they can't afford it.
