🚨HORMUZ | CENTCOM reports that a 5000lb bunker busting bombs were used to destroy hardened missile sites of Iran that were located to strike the strait of Hormuz. This significantly weakens actual strike ability and also serves to reassure shipping from the perception of strikes. Likely a GBU-28 or variant GBU-72 was used. Awaiting further imagery, strike footage or other signal to confirm. #IranWar

I literally avoid using the acronym in posts because it has lost its meaning, sadly. You're spot on though, there is a huge difference between information and intelligence. I do get pretty damn envious sometimes watching the information aggregators just slam bam thank you maam legacy media low tier without even so much as "here is my thought" and get 100k views. I don't even bother giving open source analysis much on my niche in information security and intelligence...that avenue is over run by the same morons now who think it means a siem and SOC paperwork 🙄

Most of them just aggregate news and do zero analysis and take their own experiences and apply it. A few like @MT_Anderson @JTAlexander_ etc actually do good. I found one that literally within 5 seconds of a CENTCOM post they had already made basically a repost with the exact wording but slightly different verbs. Of course they get thousands of impressions for literally doing nothing. But I actually sit and think for a few minutes and give my take on something and get zip. Of course my niche is more on the cyber side of things but good hell some of the "osint" accounts just regurgitate with no thought of what they post, the propaganda they end up spreading in ignorance and bot accounts they empower. X def is pay to play and the horde seems to love the aggregated 'news'.

Yeah wondering where the facts find if it was enemy fire or just mechanical issues. Based on the abundance of video I'd say likely it was mechanical but who knows. This illustrates what CENTCOM has been saying all along, that we have complete air superiority...they've never once said supremacy.

@zuki_2024 It was either a mechanical issue (thus not due to enemy fire), or it was an ambush with a radar guided SAM system that subsequently got glassed and thus is no longer a threat.

Do we know if it was shot down or suffer a ton of other problems that brought it down? I have been looking all day for facts to back it was actually shot down and with what. So far nothing. Do you happen to know via a credible source? So far all we know is where generally it went down, the crew is picked up now and what you pointed out.

Did I state I am not biased like legacy media? Nothing more needed to be said, seems you are having a comprehension problem ("not being a cunt here") Facts are facts, I suggest learning about the intelligence process and you will quickly realize how to discern fact from fiction.

@IPSecOSINT @ken_kmak8542 Explain why prompt reporting on a factual event is unequivocal proof of bias? I’m not being a cunt. But what you’ve said there is opinion and perception. People don’t get convicted of crimes on opinions without evidence. Same applies here

17 years of dealing with being in court has taught me one thing; court is just perception crafted into reality using legal jargon. Ones standard of what is fact vs fiction should never be based on if it would be acceptable in a court room setting, i've routinely seen out right lies be crafted legally as fact and the jury and judge buys it. Not attacking you, just pointing out some experience here. I get your meaning though.

@ken_kmak8542 I’m sorry and I mean this respectfully, I ask myself always “would this be permissible and acceptable in a court case” when making a claim. You can’t make an accusation based on your perception of their facial expressions. I’d be interested to see the clip if you have it?

@ken_kmak8542 Or is it non biased reporting? It is a major win for Iran. Doesn’t mean they are cheering Iran. News media is supposed to report impartial and truth. If they’ve said “iran got a win by shooting down an American aircraft” that’s pretty impartial.

It is interesting to see accounts supposedly from the US get extremly butthurt when I post similar things and even point out that we currently do not have the facts as to how the plane was downed. But dare I state we should wait for information the butthurt copium users come out of the woodwork. Honestly, I think it's good these people are being outed for who they are. Do I trust blindly? No, but I am smart enough to know who to trust but verify. No one seems to understand that concept.

You truly have no idea what shot down vs crashed means apparently. But hey the NYT and legacy media told you otherwise. But the funny part is NYT stated "downed" in the headline....so like I said above. You aren't posting the facts, you're posting aggregating information. Show me the geo confirmed footage, the press release from the people who own the fighter. Wait I trust those who own the jet? Yes, when combined with the relevant facts. You sure can believe legacy media, that's your choice, but that makes you more of the dumb ass. By all means keep going with the cope

🤥Understanding Propaganda | Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian just dropped this on X: “What message does attacking hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and the Pasteur Institute as a medical research center in Iran convey? As a specialist physician, I urge WHO, the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and physicians worldwide to respond to this crime against humanity.” Classic propaganda operation. One carefully framed post from the top, designed to paint US/Israeli strikes as deliberate attacks on civilian medicine and “crimes against humanity.” It’s already being amplified across X, picked up by state media, influencers, and thousands of accounts with zero context on dual-use facilities or the broader strike campaign. This is exactly how X is weaponized today to get ignorant audiences to spread propaganda at scale. A single high-profile post hits the platform, compresses the info cycle into minutes, and gets reposted by people who have no idea about targeting intel, no verification process, and no interest in the full picture. They see “hospitals + doctor president” and hit share. Narrative planted. Mission accomplished. As I laid out in my recent thread , platforms like X have turned “loose lips sink ships” into something far more dangerous. Public statements, even accurate ones, get aggregated, reframed, and repurposed by actors who know exactly how to exploit them. One data point becomes a signal. One emotional appeal becomes global outrage. Responsible OSINT and posting isn’t about stopping the flow, it’s about recognizing when information is being actively shaped for effect. This isn’t organic outrage. It’s deliberate narrative shaping, timed to coincide with ongoing US/Israeli ops, aimed at eroding international support and pressuring health orgs to echo the line. The ignorant amplifiers on X aren’t the target, they’re the delivery mechanism. Stay sharp out there. Context still matters, even when the algorithm doesn’t reward it. Today proves it. #IranWar x.com/IPSecOSINT/sta…

MOUNT SOFEH BDA: Arsenal Complex Strikes Following up on the FIRMS data and local ground videos of fires on Mar 31, this Sentinel-2 timelapse gives us a definitive look at what was targeted at the Mount Sofeh munitions base. 🔥Widespread Scorching/Craters: The before/after (Mar 29 vs Apr 3) reveals blackened blast radiuses across the NW sector of the facility. 🔥Bunker Hits: Likely multiple distinct storage bunkers and structures in the NW sector took direct hits, explaining the massive secondary explosions and thermal signatures seen earlier this week. Destruction of Iranian deep-storage munitions continues Source: @esa Sentinel 2 Date: 3 April 2026 @EpicFuryMap

You raise a point that many are missing. Superiority vs Supremacy. The uneducated are taking those as interchangeable, however in warfare those have always been tiered. Notice US Officials have never said we have 100% Iranian Air supremacy. They simply state were have superiority. Meaning there is obvious danger still but the effectiveness is a fraction of what it could be or should be based on how Iran talked itself up as. As I write this the ratio is about 12000:2 over Iranian airspace. That's insignificant for what Iran purported to be. So either the US is simply the most powerful military ever and our losses are a fraction of what we dish out or the Iranians are pathetically inadequate to match the US and seem to have a 6000:1 ratio against them. If I was a betting man, Iran would not be the play.

@0hour1 Don't worry, any bullet hole or any damage of anything US from now on the Iran cucks will cry it is automatic US loss....when even with todays loss, the US has lost less equipment than it loses per year in training exercises.
