Hi Agnus, the scripture will answer your question. Let's see: Firstly, we are souls, we don't have a soul (Genesis 2:7). However, there's what the scripture called, "the spirit of the man" or spirit of man (1 Corinthians 2:11, Ecclesiastes 3:21). This spirit is the same as the breath of God in Genesis 2:7. Proof? Here: "...when You take away their breath, they die..." (Psalm 104:29). Now, let's answer: Where are the souls of the just; in the grave with their corpse? Here: "...and return to their dust" (same Psalm 104). And the spirit or breath of life? It simply returned to God who gave it. Again, remember how man became a soul in the first place. Further proofs that the dead are in their graves, is David, a man after God's own heart. See: "For David did not ascend into the heavens...". So where is David, if he's not in heaven? "...he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day" (Acts 2:29, 34). But is the grave the end of man? Absolutely no! Job asked, "if a man die, shall he live again?" He continued, "all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my CHANGE come" (Job 14:14). So, where is Job waiting? The grave! And what CHANGE was he speaking of? "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be CHANGED" (1 Cor. 15:52). The CHANGE job spoke of is the resurrection of the dead, where he, as all the saints, are changed from mortals to immortals, v. 53. Cheers.

@Iknowthis__ @Pontifex The body remains in the grave while the soul of a believer travels to Heaven upon death. However, it also stays connected to its body in the grave where it awaits the final resurrection, when the body is raised and reunited with the soul. The soul looks forward to this reunion.

Iran just rejected the second round of US negotiations in Pakistan. No surprise. The mullahs are playing the same old game โ€” stall, threaten, and hope for weakness. But Trump isnโ€™t biting. He made it clear: no extension, and "lots of bombs" if there's no deal. ๐Ÿงต

Hi Jacky. Like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), let's find out together. There's a translation error in verse 43. In Greek, it is written as, "Verily I say unto you today, shall you be with Me in paradise". The difference? The comma is after the word "today" and not before. Also, in verse 42, the thief said, "REMEMBER me WHEN...". Notice the two important phrases. It shows the thief correctly understood that there's a time element involved in Christ's statement, before His promise would be fulfilled. Yes, the thief knew that much time would pass. Let's paint a vivid picture of when the thief and others will enter into the kingdom of God (note: kingdom OF God, not kingdom IN heaven): "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the [throne] of His glory. All the [nations] will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, โ€˜Come, you blessed of My Father, [inherit] the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (Matthew 25:31-34). To make it unmistakably clear where and when this event will take place, let's examine four key phrases: 1. Throne. 2. Nations. 3. Inherit. 4. Prepared. 1. What throne? Answer, "...and the Lord God will give Him the THRONE of His father David". (Luke 1:32). Christ will sit on the throne of David when He returns. 2. Where are nations? 3. Inherit: If the righteous are already in heaven, which is supposedly their inheritance, then which kingdom are they inheriting upon Christ's return? Here is what God promised the righteous will inherit: "blessed are the meek, for they shall INHERIT the earth" (Matthew 5:5). Heaven is not an inheritance for the righteous. You know why? Because heaven is of the Lord. Of course, both heaven and earth are His. But He has given the earth to man, as an inheritance. (Psalm 115:16). In fact, to desire heaven amounts to coveteousness, which is sin. Knowingly or unknowingly, that's the truth. 4. Prepared: remember when Jesus said He was going away to prepare a place for His people? (John 14:2-3). It's now unmistakably clear where that PREPARED PLACE is, and when the righteous will officially possessed the place. To wrap up, brother. No, the thief is not in paradise; no one is. The dead are in their graves, awaiting the resurrection upon Christ's return, when He will mount the throne of David, and deliver the kingdom to those worthy of it. Again. Like the Bereans, do well to check if these things are so. Cheers.

Respectfully, you are wrong about the good thief: โ€œNow one of the criminals hanging there reviled Jesus, saying, โ€œAre you not the Messiah? Save yourself and us.โ€ The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, โ€œHave you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal.โ€ Then he said, โ€œJesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.โ€ He replied to him, โ€œAmen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.โ€ This is from Luke 23:39-43

Tucker Carlson is an Islamist who feeds off the slaughter of Christians by his jihadist brothers. Boko Haram and its affiliates have been ransacking entire villages and communities, killing Christians at will, in collaboration with the Muslim, cocaine dealer President of Nigeria.

Remember when @TuckerCarlson said the genocide of Christians in Nigeria by ISIS and Boko Haram was made up and not real? Well, here is a video that is circulating in Nigeria this week. Boko Haram recently released this video telling all Christians in northern Nigeria to convert to Islam or die. In the video they say they are โ€œfighting for prophet Mohammedโ€, and warned Christians to โ€œconvert or you will be killed.โ€ They are saying โ€œthis is the teaching of the Prophet Mohammed.โ€ Your daily reminder that Tucker is not as Christian as he pretends to be. I wonder when he recited the Shahada?
Joel Mowbray@joelmowbray

๐Ÿšจ EXCLUSIVE: Tucker Carlson's "expert" on Nigerian Christians worked for a top defender of the Fulani Islamist militias killing Christians. The Tucker Carlson guest on Friday who slammed @tedcruz and declared that there is no campaign of targeted killings of Christians in Nigeria, lobbyist and PR flack Robert Amsterdam, had for years represented a leading Nigerian official closely associated with Fulani Islamists โ€” including the very militias that have been slaughtering Christians in Nigeria. Robert Amsterdam, feted by Carlson as "defending Christians around the world," represented Nasir El-Rufai, who from 2015 to 2023 was the governor of the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna, home to the bulk of Fulani Islamist militias that have slaughtered thousands of Christians. While serving as Kaduna's governor, El-Rufai directed substantial payments to those very same Fulani Islamists (by his own admission), and he ordered numerous crackdowns that reportedly resulted in the murders of more than 100 Christians. El-Rufai has also contributed to the ongoing vilification and demonization of Nigeria's Christians, such as claiming in 2014 that Christians "sponsor[ed]" Boko Haram with the "motive of... tarnish[ing] the name of Islam." (Receipts below.) In 2012, three years before becoming governor of Kaduna, El-Rufai tweeted a veiled threat to Nigerian soldiers attempting to thwart the murderous campaigns carried out by Fulani Islamists, "Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes." (Screenshot below.) Three years later, El-Rufai touted his endorsement from Fulani Islamists (a broader Muslim ethnic group in Nigeria whose leaders have supported implementation of Sharia law) when he successfully ran for governor. El-Rufai also reinstated the Religious Preaching Edict, which meant that all Christian pastors required prior approval from the Kaduna government before each sermon, otherwise they "will be liable to pay a fine, and may even be imprisoned," in El-Rufai's own words. Both Tucker and Amsterdam cited the latter's work on behalf of various Nigerian entities as the basis for his expertise to refute claims by Trump, Cruz and many others that Christians are being systematically murdered by Fulani Islamists. Although he didn't disclose in the Tucker Carlson interview his work for a leading defender of the Fulani Islamists, Amsterdam stated in 2018 on his website that he "has represented" El-Rufai, the "Governor of Kaduna State." Because Amsterdam never registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act for any Nigerian entity, the exact nature and duration is unknown. (Amsterdam could not be immediately reached for comment.) There is no record of Amsterdam ever representing, protecting, and/or defending persecuted Nigerian Christians, and his X profile does not show even a single post warning about the attacks carried out by Fulani Islamists. Yet this is the man Tucker Carlson used to refute claims of Nigerian Christians being systematically slaughtered at the hands of Fulani Islamists.
