This reminds me of when you could get a 30 min uber in nyc for like $10/$15, and now it costs $50 to get 5 blocks.
We’re going to look book at this time and wish the vc’s would subsidize our compute again.

Cursor internal analysis shows how hard Anthropic is subsidizing Claude Code. Last year, a $200 monthly subscription could use $2,000 in compute. Now, the same $200 monthly plan can consume $5,000 in compute (2.5x increase).

@yuri_jew Would love to dive more into this I have a node.js server spun up getting data from the amazon API and writing it into airtable but I do not think I am as far along as you are.

if you're running an amazon business with VAs and don't have automation workflows + a central database, your team is working with stale data and doing way too much manual work.
for us it's n8n + airtable. 3 workflows that run every day:
shipping confirmation / cancelled order processor — triggered by email, automatically updates our sheet so sourcers know what shipped and what got cancelled. they need this data fast to make informed sourcing decisions.
transparency alert — email trigger to slack when an asin gets transparency turned on. instant signal to sourcers: never source this asin. saves us from buying inventory we can't sell.
hazmat/dg classifier — auto-tags hazmat when a new lead is uploaded. need this for accurate profitability — inbound shipping is way more expensive for hazmat. without it you're miscalculating margins on every hazmat lead.
curious what other amazon sellers are using for this.

Think it. Say it. Done.
The average person spends 3 hours typing + switches 1,000 tabs per day.
That ends today.

@AlexanderTw33ts Where does an AI get money to pay for renting a human?

@icobeast Most likely just training data they’ve gathered from Reddit and other social media.
English

@JamieHuff :/ Yeah figured all that hype being passed around would result in changes for the worse.

@IndraVahan automation shines for repetitive high volume stuff. but most personal tasks are either one offs or actually better done manually because the setup time kills the ROI.
English

@ravsau @IndraVahan I did this went down a path said it could do xyz then realized it couldn’t and I should just do it ☠️
English

@IndraVahan I realize you might be joking but I'd put this on claude
"based on what you know about me, suggest some tasks I should code using coding agents. thing big, agents can do complex coding in a few minutes now. "
and see what ideas you get.
