The New York Times: A US military investigation has concluded the United States was responsible for the strike on the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ elementary school in Minab, Iran. 165 girls. Ages 7 to 12. Trump said the Tomahawk was “very generic.” Trump said Iran bombed its own school. Trump said he’s “willing to live with” whatever the report shows. The report shows it was us. And while Trump was lying about dead children, his administration was hiding dozens of wounded American service members from their own families and the American public. Concealing American casualties. Lying about dead Iranian children. Blocking terror warnings to law enforcement. Sealing the Epstein files. This is a pattern.

@RupertLowe10 After uni visits in a number of British cities, I call bunkum - Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, all vibrant and wonderful places - towns near where I live are too. Friday nights there are groups of drunks, mainly local lads, but that’s been the same as long as I can recall.

Walk around any British town centre. It's filthy, plagued with gangs of foreign men shouting in their own languages, harassing local women. I am sick of it. I have had enough. We have all had enough. Why do we put up with it? What are they doing here? Why is nobody in politics talking about it? They'll all scream 'oh isn't Rupert a racist?!' I honestly don't give a shit. I really don't. It's all true, and we all know it. Britain didn't used to be like this. Ten, twenty, thirty years ago - it did not used to be like this. We've all seen how it's changed. It does not have to be like this. I remember working and living in London. It was the best city in the world. Vibrant, fun, safe, exciting, welcoming. Now? Large parts are becoming a squalid slum - like so many of our towns and cities. Not just London, Birmingham or Manchester. But our once-charming little towns are going the same way, many already have. Others are well on their way... Importing hundreds of thousands of young men from backward cultures that share none of our values - that hate women, disrespect women, mistreat women. What did we think would happen, honestly? Is it a surprise that same poison is infecting our streets and communities? No. No, it is not. These changes to our communities and our towns are not permanent, not irremediable, not inevitable. It can be reversed. And it must be reversed. Stop the flow. Deport the illegals. Remove those foreigners who add nothing, but take so very much. I will continue to make these arguments in Westminster. Starmer's too weak to say it, Farage is too scared to say it. But it's time politicians were honest with the British people. I have had enough. I want to live in a country where women can enjoy a Friday night out without the fear of being raped by somebody who should never have been in our country to begin with. I want my country back.

Does anyone have experience of @HastingsDirect ? My son took out a policy 2weeks ago after passing his test, they’ve asked for driving licence/V5 which has been sent email and app, but they’re still saying online his policy will be cancelled on 13th if he doesn’t send it.

@HastingsDirect Hi. Thanks but my query is he’s sent everything and we’ve not had a confirmation that all is ok. Perfectly happy for the team to ask for documents etc, but lack of feedback that all is well is disconcerting and the team won’t speak to me about it.

@mjrharris Families are out at school/work all day unlike a pensioner who’s likely to be home all day and therefore spending significantly more on heat. Pensioners also more likely to be ill from the cold and therefore would cost more if help needed from the NHS for cold-related illnesses.

So a teacher earning 35k, renting, with 3 kids doesn't get a payment to heat their home But a pensioner who owns their home on the same money does? Cool story bro.

They won’t talk to me as it’s in his name, even though he’s emailed to say they can. No reply to emails or messages on app. He’s at school all day and can’t have his phone on him and no answer to phones in the evening. Quite stressed about it.

@HighwaysWMIDS A5 between Montford Bridge and Nescliffe, Shropshire, has massive traffic jams due to temporary lights. No contractors present, nothing actually in the highway preventing the lights being moved.

Not sure what the point of ordering a Christmas delivery slot is, when ‘Christmas dinner’ items, including turkey, aren’t delivered. Ring-fencing those items is surely what should happen. @waitrose I can get out and shop, and it’s ok, but for people who can’t, it’s just rubbish.
