@DylanBallard_UK It's possible Pope stood firm on the final offer to Freeman not wanting to overpay him while prepared to pay the same or more for an equal or better player. And the delay by Freeman was him giving serious consideration to coming to UK anyway. Hopefully this is possible.

This is not over. There are a lot of big names left on the board, and you can recover. A few big names. I don’t know if Kentucky can get them or not. It’s just alarming that they are really struggling to close these guys and mismanaging these situations so poorly.

With Rob Wright off the board who is the one player you most want to see at Kentucky next year?

Let’s talk about it, BBN. Would you take JQ back for another season? He’s STRONGLY considering returning. Stokes x JQ?

People ask me how I won as a Democrat in a deep-red state. The answer is simple: Instead of talking at people, I talk with them. And I deliver results that matter. Good jobs, safe roads, health care – these are the things Americans care about. It's time we focused on them.

The university who has absolutely failed fans for years can throw away another yr on this but when that's over we have to as a fan base stand for nothing less then accountability Look at the age of UK fans that travel, that group won't be here forever. You are not creating new

@SteinsStuds No. An impressive performance a couple times a season combined with his frequent horrible play makes him a big net negative.

@CBeasmoreSports Sounds like stepping in for Garrison and JQ so early in his career was very hard on him and I don't blame him one bit. IMO he was a pleasant surprise.

Malachi Moreno on whether he will return to Kentucky next year: "There’s a lot of thoughts in my head, just trying to process what’s going on, what happened today. I’m extremely upset that it’s the last time I get to wear the jersey with this team, but I feel like after a couple days, I’ll process it with my family and go through the talks, and we’ll make a decision from there." When asked if he will consider going through the NBA Draft process: "It’s something I’ve got to talk about with my family first." #BBN

@AmyMcGrathKY There's a reason so much $ has been wasted trying to get you elected. You're just not very good at this.

Labeling every American of the opposition political party as an enemy to the country may be the most un-American thing any president has ever said. Dangerous.

Gas prices are up. Groceries are too expensive. Homeownership doesn't seem possible. Things aren't feeling "great" for hardworking Americans. The President should be making decisions that help our families, not ones that make their lives harder.

@AmyMcGrathKY So, Amy, "ex military pilot," you are now on record as saying that leading the free world out from under the influence and control of the tyrannical Iranian regime, after 47 years of wreckless terrorism, is not the right thing to do, right now? You are a 4x loser .

In what world? This reckless war is costing taxpayers $1 billion dollars a day and gas is up $0.50 here in Kentucky (and on track to get worse). We have money for this but not for healthcare? Our priorities are obviously different...
Andy Barr@barrforsenate

It was great to join the big crowd of Shelby County Republicans at their Lincoln Day Dinner last night! Good to see my friend Rep. @jmnemes, who I was honored to help deliver RFG rollbacks with; thanks to President Trump and Republicans, gas will now be $.25/gallon cheaper in the Louisville region!

Sources say Kentucky basketball has had talks about dismissing HC Mark Pope after a disappointing 9th place SEC finish. Kentucky spent $22M this offseason and currently has 0 committed HS players

Mark Pope once again puts all 4 healthy reserves in at once and they now trail…. They were up double digits… They are no analytics that say playing those four guys together is a good decision.

@AmyMcGrathKY So the answer would be even more money for the teachers unions (who are failing students nation wide) whose real purpose is to funnel dues $ back to democrat politicians and provide street muscle for democrat causes? We aren't stupid, Amy, and the walls are closing in.

I learned something this week that really stopped me in my tracks. The five states where it takes the least income to be considered “middle class” are the very same states that rank lowest in education. That is not a coincidence. When we shortchange public education, we shortchange opportunity. Wages stay low. Young people leave. Families have a harder time getting ahead. A low cost of living is not something to celebrate if it comes from an economy that does not value workers or prepare our kids for the future. Strong schools build strong communities. They bring in better jobs, grow the middle class, and give every child a fair shot no matter where they live. If we truly want more successful residents and a stronger economy, we have to be willing to invest in education. Not as a line item in a budget, but as the smartest investment we can make in our future. kentucky.com/news/state/ken…
