"Influential"? These guys are all Boomer liberals, Francis appointees who do not represent the mainstream of US Catholic opinion, and certainly not where the spiritual energy is among the laity. Nor the future of the Catholic Church in the US.

When you have a tee time in the final group at the Masters on Sunday, but first ... there's church. Cameron Young said earlier this week that his family tries to find a church to go to every week on the road. Sunday in Augusta is no different. CAMERON YOUNG: Our faith is very important to us. It's something that I feel like brings us together. It's very important, I think, for all of us to kind of have that part of our lives be a central portion of what we do, individually and as a family. It's a nice opportunity for us to be together, to kind of share something together. Yeah, we find a different church every week. Wherever we are, we find mass to go to. That week it happens to be right by the golf course. So it's a little bit different pulling in in the tournament car, unloading my kids out, and having people kind of look at you the whole time. I get a lot of really, really nice comments, people saying, hey, thanks for setting a great example for my children or whatever it is. Honestly it's great to hear because I don't feel like that's the case all the time, and that's one area where I'm really happy to be able to bring attention to that part of our life. Trump saying that Iran has “no cards” is laughable - the world is hurting from their control of the Strait of Hormuz. Seems like a pretty powerful card! Inflation is up and fuel is up over 40% in just a month. Our negotiating team is anchored by real estate developers, one of whom didn’t understand what Iran was even offering to begin with. And Iran and Russia have been getting the sanctions relief they wanted. Can’t argue this is all going to plan.

By far the most frustrating MAGA talking point is how somehow Joe Biden was responsible for GLOBAL inflation caused by a once in a lifetime GLOBAL pandemic, when the truth is, the policies enacted by Biden enabled the United States to recover faster than any other developed nation IN THE WORLD. Americans should’ve heard more about this. The solutions being put in place should’ve been loudly and frequently publicized. The effects of the messaging failure around this are not only still being dealt with today, but will continue to be felt for years to come, unfortunately.
