My grandad had bowel + prostate cancer - he was so unwell, in agonising pain every day, being fed medication to knock him out 24/7.

This flies in the face of the experience of every single person who has spent time around long-term weed smokers. As I have.
I am willing to listen to alternate explanations. Maybe people who do a ton of weed also take other drugs which are what's hurting their brains. Maybe people who are genetically predisposed to weed are already flakey. Maybe the researchers are weedheads.
And yes I know plenty of people who smoked weed who were cognitively just fine. It's fair to say it's minority that destroy their lives. But still. "No cognitive decline" - that's on a par with Piltdown man.

Basically no digital display, connected faster than any bluetooth radio ive used to this day, and it had a physical skip button so I could actually press it without touching the phone

The most I'll use my phone when driving is to press the skip button. I notoriously do not answer calls when I'm driving.
