@GeminiJack11 @gifv_Kayla To me, my time invested needs to feel rewarding in a game I’m Devoting time playing. And getting good gear after hundreds of hours invested and just losing it all to some sweaty players just doesn’t feel good man. Feels like time wasted.

@gifv_Kayla Not gonna lie, it's becoming a struggle to want to keep going at this point. Everyone says get over gear fear and when I do, it reinforces why I have gear fear. Then the new content will just be harder and sweatier... Is that worth?

@j_carr97 @delmontyb Exhausting is an understatement. Every run is filled with sweaty people who are playing the game lot purely hunt other players. I find little to no friendly interactions and working together with other players. Would be nice to group up to tackle on world events.

@delmontyb Yeah I’d like some PvE modes too. Also im kinda hoping when ranked mode comes out that all the sweats mostly play over there and normal mode is alittle more chill, PvP is fun but it gets exhausting after awhile and sometimes I just wanna explore and loot.

Unpopular opinion: I am really enjoying Marathon, which is surprising because I was in the anti-marathon camp just because frustrations at Destiny... Glad I picked it up, we'll see how this plays out... I will say... I would LOVE some type of Dungeons and Raids that are more PvE focused especially late at night when I'm just not in the mood or have the energy to PvP

@delmontyb This^ imo bungie already has pve players as a majority of their community. Why not capitalize on that and bring more players to the game. Not just the sweaty pvp players.

@BoundingComics Extraction shooter generally invites the most sweaty players, and majority of them are on PC. Console people are way too chilled for that kind of game.

Forbes contributor Paul Tassi says his Bungie insiders have admitted that Marathon is primarily played on PC... Bungie Devs are drinking water. That's for sure.

This is why I said that Marathon will NEVER be a massive game. They made a hard, brutal, pvp-centric, grief-celebrated game. LOTS of us love that. But there's way more people that don't want the stress, which is why Arc exists. The issue is AAA dev money vs. rate of return

@Onepeg If they had made this game more friendly to casuals, solo players and pve focused players. The entire Destiny community would have jumped over and probably been pretty happy. But they ignored Destiny and its fans to put out a game for the top 1% completely forgetting the majority

@Astral_735 @SlashWarrior87 Losing your loot in a game where it makes a HUGE difference is just terrible and unrewarding. “But it’s an extraction shooter” okay well not every one has to be the same. Innovate. Change it up. Maybe make you only lose what you looted that run so far. Not everything.

I’m going to be genuinely honest with everyone and I am not going to apologise for what I’m going to say. As someone who has been gaming for more than 20 years, #Marathon is without a doubt in my mind, the worst video game that I have ever played in my life. And I’m not kidding.
