It's time to go fishing! This map features a small pier at a harbor or marina. The pier could accommodate a yacht, a fishing boat, or perhaps a small freighter. There are also stairs to the sea level for smaller boats.

Just bought Project Zomboid... very excited for it. Yes... I know its over 10 years old, but it appears to have everything I want in a game and I'm surprised I've only watched others play it. Not sure I've played a video game in 2024 yet 🤔

So looking into Project Zomboid tips, long before I've even got the game... but shhh... Any I'm obviously missing. Never played before. 1) don't run 2) don't use guns 3) turn off room lights and cover windows 4) bottle water 5) can openers! 6) start in rosewood (?)

@PSJMaps Welp, I'd wait for Project Zomboid to go on sale: isthereanydeal.com/game/project-z… shows history of sales, etc from previous years, and when to expect. Anomaly won't go on sale for a while if at all (Rimworld rarely does any sales). Best bet would be if you have HumbleChoice - 20% off.

@M4thD4d That's a great pic, definitely something to remember it. Where abouts in the world were you when you got this? I was technically on the very edge of the eclipse, at the very edge of daylight too, so if i wasn't driving I don't think I would have even noticed it

@PSJMaps I'm limping it through the run as best as I can. Got a huge dono towards a new compressor, so that combined with some sales can get me back to good.

I'm like 99% sure my air compressor is about to crap out on me. Here's hoping it makes it through the stuff I need to etch today. I have close to 60 pieces to finish, most of which are the new goblet & bottle runs I'm hoping to use to get this months bills paid. Fingers crossed!

@MC_Etching Ah sorry to hear this. Fixable or not worth it / possible? Did you get many of the 60 pieces finished?

@BarrierXI Oh nice. I'm <12hrs into learning Godot and have seen a few videos to establish similar culling affects etc. Are they just randomly placed, or based on some algorithm?

@PSJMaps Not really, they don't have any scripts and unity culls objects out of camera view. It also batches them together so they don't render individually.

People are upset about 50 inactive berries objects in the inventory, but wait until you see how many thousands of grass game object are active in the level at the same time! 😄

One thing about being a parent is you find ways to entertain your kids like the extended version of the Bluey Theme song which then you discover is a straight up banger.

When I'm not doing RPG and battlemaps, I like doing historical wargaming. This video shows a 15ft Stalingrad table that I scratchbuilt over the last couple of months, and then ran some massive multiplayer games on this weekend

Played around some more with #GODOT & got tilesets, collisions, simple AI nav mesh and AI bot generation added thanks to lots of @NathanGDQuest tutorials One step closer to Spacehulk @WerdnaKcep Took me 30mins to record and find a way to convert webm videos for here! #gamedev
