Everything you wrote here is nonsense,let me explain,firstly you are making a foxhole fallacy,The illogical claim is a variation of the aphorism "There are no atheists in foxholes," which suggests that extreme stress or fear of death inherently prompts a belief in a higher power.
Many nonreligious service members and individuals facing terminal illness or imprisonment maintain their atheism throughout their ordeal. Organizations like the Military Association of Atheists & Freethinkers exist specifically for those who hold no religious belief even in combat.
Also your post contains twig analogy,mischaracterization of atheism and appeal to emotion over reasoning.
And lastly your post contains Broad Spectrum of Belief: This ignores people who become more certain of their atheism when faced with suffering (the "problem of evil") or those who find meaning through secular humanism, science, or community without a higher power.

Atheism is easiest when life is comfortable and within your control. But I’ve personally witnessed several times when people face things like a long prison sentences, terminal illness, violence or death.. something interesting happens. Those who once claimed certainty suddenly begin praying, asking for mercy and hoping for something beyond themselves. Because when you’re confronted with forces you can’t control, rebellion tends to fade, and humility tends to appear.
