Good Morning X Friends ☕️☀️🇺🇸✝️ I hope everyone is doing well this morning. I’ve been off the platform a lot the last couple of days on vacation visiting family. Since it’s Sunday ✝️ - I wanted to remember to be thankful 🙏 and to pray for all of my friends for The Lord Jesus Christ to bless you, your families, and loved ones, and I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday today. I’ve spent the morning talking to my step-father on a deck we built together, since it was also his birthday 🎂 yesterday. He’s a retired Army SFC and civil servant as well, with over 45 years of total service to this nation. Later I hope to visit with one of my brothers-in-law who is a battalion commander in the U.S. Army as well, who is on leave after a recent deployment. 🫡🇺🇸 Always remember the sacrifices it takes to protect this nation, and our service members and everyone currently deployed - as well as our first responders and their families also. 🫡🇺🇸 I’m on vacation this week visiting family - but I wanted to wish everyone a good day, and I’ll try and visit with friends later as I can.

Doing some work on the computer when this guy decides he needs to get a little cocky and make his presence known! I used to be creeped out by them, but after living with hunting dogs, you kind of get used to them. That said… this one is still getting crushed and washed down the sink. Now it’s time for a shower before I spend the rest of the afternoon feeling imaginary ticks crawling all over me! 😬

Before I call it a night, I want to say something. I don’t post for likes. I don’t post for money. I post because I care about this country and because of all of you. A lot of what I write comes from the conversations we have. I read your comments. I listen to your opinions. Even when we disagree, I take what you say, think about it, and sometimes turn it into a post because the conversation matters. I believe both sides need to hear uncomfortable truths. But right now, I believe our path starts with voting red and holding those we elect accountable every step of the way. My loyalty isn’t to politicians. It’s to America. We the People are the government. If we stop acting like spectators and start acting like citizens, we can build the country we want for our children and grandchildren. Goodnight, America. 🇺🇸 My friend's father's funeral was today. He was a Navy Veteran. Someone played bagpipes. My friend played the guitar and sang In The Garden. There was a 3 volley rifle salute and a bugler played taps. And it rained. It was a beautiful send off. 🇺🇸🫡
