12U travel baseball. Team goes 0-2 Saturday in pool play. Upset about the results, the Head coach tells parents and players; “players aren’t allowed to swim at the hotel pool tonight.” Thoughts?

@JustinTMichael Bill’s and Blue Pan are both great. Varsity Inn in Littleton/Centennial deserves a mention. Outstanding dough/crust, and the “rolls” made with the same dough are awesome too.

@SlickRickFowler If you can’t handle more than a 4-degree gap in lofts and opt for a 58 degree over a 60, it tells me 1) you can’t flight a wedge, and 2) you have cinder blocks for hands, respectively. Respectfully of course.

Might ruffle some feathers here but if you don’t game 50° 54° and 58° wedges I assume you’re not a serious golfer

@PCshepherd24 @JosephLaMagna Move the pga back to August and the players back to May. This would open up so many more PGA venues, both new (CB, Erin Hills, etc.) and better weather for returns to prior sites (Whistling, Oak Hill aka “Soak Hill”, etc.). Multiple problems solved.

We-Ko-Pa (Saguaro) was genuinely one of the coolest places I’ve ever played. I will post a review of the stadium course, but this blew it out of the water. Being a NC boy that had never been out west before, this was the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. I had some really awful personal stuff happen this morning and this round and the views really helped. The course was pure as can be at 101°. I suggest anyone who comes to AZ to put this on the docket. You HAVE to hit fairways and be ready for firm greens.

Bear Dance - Larkspur, CO Whitcomb/Aurand/Bruening/Hogan, 2002 Day 3 of the trip took us to maybe the most underrated state for golf. A big, winding course with dramatic elevation changes/views and very good greens. The corner of the property with 16/17 (pics 1/2) is serene.

@therealmcnair It’s a wide open market. Tabs are nice, but with a shoe like an FJ Premier I had had issues wearing through the portion of the tab that attaches to the body of the sock. Have had better luck with a quarter sock lately, feetures most recently

@ChipJohnson01 @colinarmi If there’s any chance you can push a flight or squeeze in CommonGround before you leave, it’s well worth your while. It’s Denver’s lesser known version of Memorial Park (in that it’s a mini Doak design, in an admittedly less exciting piece of land)

@colinarmi Absolutely it was easy, not long at all. But tough green complexes that can create high numbers for someone who’s not good around the greens. Fun course to play Only one I’m hitting, here for a bachelor trip. I didn’t plan the itinerary

What an awesome and unique golf course. Fossil Trace is incredibly fun and something anyone that visits the area should play 71 with 4 fairways, I guess the course scouting paid off
