We are in pieces and deeply 💔as we had to say goodbye to Oscar ❤️ who has been such a loyal placid pet for 16.5 years (over a quarter of my lifetime). Harrowing experience having him put to sleep but he is now in doggy heaven with his twin brother, Ozzy ❤️

@barrabest Have been to Cape Town twice and still not made it to Robben Island. Nobody mentioned the penquins there!!

@Rodneyhumph Yep - we stopped at Boulders Beach for the Penguins. Although, I was more impressed with the wild penguin colony on Robben Island.

The journey home from South Africa begins today 🇿🇦 From Cape Town to Camps Bay, the Cape of Good Hope, and wine country in Franschhoek. Incredible food, kind people, and we felt safe the whole time. And - the weather was just like being home in Ireland 🌧️😂
