it’s pretty clear that the average man really isn’t all that opposed to rape under the condition that it isn’t overtly violent and the word rape isn’t used far too many women and girls have been coerced into sex by their partners for this to not be the case
emily may@emilykmay

there's a sex therapist who has a ritual of making out with her husband every night before bed, and so many of the comments on her posts are some version of "but what if he gets turned on and I don't want to have sex" and i need men to understand and prioritize non sexual touch.

Feminists had a good run in the 2010s. But the entire train has derailed with sex inside a loving marriage being considered rape.

Willingly having sex for reasons other than personally being horny IS consensual. For example whores do it for money, middle class whores do it to lock down a man early in the relationship (then get married & start witholding it). As for duty, yes you have obligations to other people generally, and specifically when you take vows to love and cherish them til death do you part. If your husband wasn’t in the mood to go to work, would you just tolerate life without a steady breadwinner earning an income? Or would you expect him to figure that shit out and pull his weight in the relationship, for the sake of you and the children? And if he failed to, would you take matters into your own hands and either become the breadwinner yourself thereby rendering him redundant (at which point you would likely cheat on him & dissolve the relationship) or find another man willing to fulfill that role since he won’t? If the answer to either is yes, then you understand all the elements at play here, you’re just being wilfully obtuse.

@aimeeterese All these to words to endorse duty sex for shitty men. Anything but consent

A wife should be intimate with her husband even if she's not in the mood when he initiates. Just think of all the things men do for their wives even if they're not really feeling it. Do you think he's really thrilled about going to work every day to pay the bills? Is he enthusiastic about mowing the lawn? Even just going to the mall and walking around and waiting while his wife shops for an hour is more of a burden than having "duty sex", which you can do from the comfort of your own home in 10 minutes.

The CIA used to run drugs, guns, oil and people. They still do, but they used to too.

Guys, I don't actually have a wife. I am a woman with a husband but I have deep sympathy for you all after dealing with psychotic women on this app. It shouldn't be this way!

Telling my wife to skip lunch & get ready because I'm taking her to her favorite restaurant after work... only to grab McDonald's on the way home & tell her I'm not in the mood and it's not my job to feed her & then ignoring her for the rest of the night to play video games 😏

I made this image to save you all some time, just post this whenever a woman uses a phrase like "husband using wife as fleshlight" or talks about how a woman having sex she's not in the mood for is like a man getting pegged, or how marital sex is rape, etc

Women, if you ever get your man to open up and tell you what he thinks, and you proceed to tell him he's "thinking wrong" congratulations, you just lost that privilege.

@WillAttract The goal is to have sex. Even for the woman. She wants to be in the mood and get pleasure, too. The point is that taking the pressure off is more conducive to getting into the mood. Calling it rape to want closeness with your husband makes it clear what the actual problem is
