The single most man centered religion in the world is Mormonism. Mans goal in Mormonism is to become a god. Or "like God" for the Neo Mormons out there. Isa 43:7 You are here for Gods glory. The chief end of man is to glorify and enjoy God forever. Anything else is idolatry

Thanks for catching the typo. We aren’t equal to God. We never will be. He has granted us permission to sit with Him on His throne. He is God. We never will be.

@Rockin5280 @PTSPentax @GoWithJordan_ I exhale all the time. Exaltation just means being lifted up, to exalt. Sitting on Jesus' throne is literally being lifted up to sit with Him. Exaltation.

@Rockin5280 @PTSPentax @GoWithJordan_ I assume that depends on what you mean by equal. Jesus will always have been our savior, will always be the firstborn of the Father, etc. We can sit on Jesus' throne. The exact implications of exaltation I don't believe have or likely will be revealed.

@Rockin5280 @PTSPentax @GoWithJordan_ I believe God the Father is our God, as Jesus taught us to pray to the Father, in Jesus' name. I believe that even if God were to exalt us to godhood, we would still be subject to God the Father.
