Ran into an old friend/school mate during one of my infrequent Wegmans trips, recently. Veteran like myself, teaches in W. Irondequoit schools. Told me every suburban district here is toast. He asked me my opinion on skilled trades, he has 2 young adult boys. I told him hell yeah, that's where it's at right now.

I attended a workshop “Build a Better Rochester: Workshop on Advocating for Inclusive Housing” at the Irondequoit Library.
The exercises challenged participants to think about the types of housing they want in their neighborhoods as a way to solve the “missing middle” problem. Young people want to buy homes. Older adults want to age in place. Renters want more affordable options. There are shortages of housing that meets our community’s needs.
