OK i FINALLY took a look to see what Sam had done & i gotta say this is an incredible website & a validating experience for creatives in our scene With the tools at our disposal we can finally create the interactive experiences our work deserves bravo Sam!

samspratt.com I built this almost entirely with @claudeai Code and the sage advice and guidance of @lifeofc along the way. I have a pediatric understanding of all this, but over the course of many months I have been slowly figuring out whatever webDev and UI/UX are *to me* for my purposes, to learn how to communicate the work and its systems so that it can become an extension of the work. There is much more to refine just as I feel about any painting, but it's a highly freeing activity to add even these basics to the toolkit for the work ahead and if you've ever been curious or not know where to begin with my work, the story of Luci, I hope you enjoy exploring the beginnings of its new home.

It’s hard to overstate this, but the entire site is @SamSpratt. It is his design and his vision. There was nobody translating it into what it is, it was Sam’s own mettle directly interfacing with Claude Code. I knew Sam was smart, but he really shocked me with how much he was able to do own his own. I was only there to remove something ahead of him on the ground that might trip him up or nudge him slightly in one direction to avoid falling down a sinkhole, so he could stay laser focus on his world and how to bring it to life. And every once in a while, I’d open a door that I happened to have the key for. But it was him that walked with purpose, chose the direction to go in, and picked the doors he wanted to go through. I’m truly impressed by you Sam and glad I could provide a little bit of help in the long journey ahead of you.

Prior to Luci I spent a decade as a commercial illustrator for music, games, comics, film, etc. Very grateful for what I learned from each client that took a chance on me early on and felt that career should live in the same place as this story. A reminder of the hustle, highlights, compromised vision, objects of my attention at the time, and the failings that had stacked up before I tried to start over.

More than a little my friend. I don’t think anyone is as generous with knowledge as you. But more than that it’s been very inspiring watching you in real time jettison a life time of doing things one way that was objectively valuable to reinvent your own processes to accomplish your nuttiest ideas. It’s easy to start fresh. It’s much harder to be seasoned and still stay moving. Endlessly inspired by you.

What struck me after The Monument Game and Masquerade was the profound hole they left when the experience was over. I would feel this same way after a good book, or a Final Fantasy game... This unbelievable honor, is a testament to the storytelling, world building, and community that @SamSpratt and @MrsRachelSpratt have crafted - incredibly excited for what they have next. For now, it's nice to spend some comfy time at home.
