HAL has filed criminal & forgery case against Hyd's Tec Aero Devices for fabricating 199 quality test reports for critical Tejas Mk-1A parts. Between Mar 2022–Sep 2023, HAL placed 18 orders for 172 items across 35 component categories. A 2023 audit found the test reports were forged, with Axis Inspection confirming the same.
