Poor form of @dublinbusnews driver on 145 at Heuston this AM not letting @Luas customers use their Luas tickets on bus when there was major Luas breakdown. Many people didn't have change & forced to walk into city. Where's the integrated public transport @EamonRyan @TFIupdates

@ScanlonShane He was great company - as a student I used to work in The Parklands and Eamon and A J O'Leary would have singing competitions - he was some singer and storyteller but a lovely man and what a scribe - I worked alongside him in 2001 in one of his last jobs -Legend of Scribes

Sad to hear this: Eamon was the last of a generation of old-school GAA scribes. A craftsman with words, he was an excellent reader of the game who called it as he saw it. Also a fine singer, an abiding memory was his rousing version of 'Born To Be Kissed' - Ar dheis Dé🙏

I am sad to hear of the passing of Eamon Horan of @kerryman_ie fame. He possibly never used a laptop but his reports back in day of Kerry games were so good that you imagined you were there. He was a brilliant wordsmith and last of his kinds - a few pints & Monday crafted poetry
