Funny to think my investing journey started because I randomly came across Trading212 on TikTok during the COVID pandemic. Like many people during lockdown, I was bored, curious, and had no real idea what I was doing.

I’m convinced they will introduce a means test to the UK State Pension. If we keep going like we are, I would say it’s pretty much 100% guaranteed that I won’t receive it by retirement. I want to kick up a fuss about it, but instead I’m just going to manage my ISA and pension so well that I don’t need it. I’m already assuming I won’t receive this when working out how much I need for retirement.

Good morning Late start shift for me today at work, we push on... Yesterday's Fed news still settling in, rates held but the tone spooked the market a bit. Hoping for some calmer days ahead. Honestly though, this is exactly why I'm not glued to daily moves. Boring broad-market ETFs, long horizon, dips like this barely register a few years out.
