Commuting from the suburbs to the city takes its toll. Let's build, sell, and drive narrow commuting vehicles to end traffic congestion.

@UltimativCars Thanks. I’ll look to post more. Happy April Fool’s Day.

@SingleOccupant Welcome back :)
I already had the suspicion, you would have left your activity on Twitter ...

@Eng_china5 Cars are too wide for crowded highways. 39” wide Tango EV is thinner than some motorcycles. It’s the best car ever designed for single occupant highway driving. Thin cars, lanes, and parking spaces are called ThinMobility.

I took an Evelyn Wood-type course before I started college because I was worried about the workload. Before and after the course they gave you a test to see how well it worked. Before the course I was able to read 400 words per minute with no comprehension. After the course I

@BruceWolfChi The mission was completed in 88 minutes, so I would think so. Unless you are Evelyn Wood on steroids.

@BarstoolGruden @jakemalasek If he’s a first rounder, @RickWWoodbury is a first ballot hall of famer. 39” wide Tango EV beats standard-width car LA commute times by > 40%. I’ll set up test ride in LA for you @BarstoolGruden. Tango runs skinny through holes: youtu.be/nciuTyC5fRM?si…

The taxi @jakemalasek and I took from O'Hare into Chicago the other night was one of the crazier rides of our lives...
He may have driven in the shoulder the entire ride, but he got us downtown in record time! It was crazy!

@WildcatReport “Farther” is distance. “Further” is everything else.

@RandomTheGuy_ @TheFigen_ For better throughput, cars, lanes, and parking spaces quickest when thin. 39” Tango > 40% faster than wider cars and lanes through congestion.

@wholemars For driving through congestion, Tango wins easily. youtu.be/nciuTyC5fRM?si…

@GerberKawasaki Waymo nailed the Sunday drive vibe—but one passenger per robo-car? Congrats on reinventing LA traffic with a Stanford accent. Want to actually fix urban mobility? Time to think thin: youtu.be/qTI1PLBtycU?si…

Yesterday in just packed beach traffic and horrid tourist drivers. A Waymo navigated by us with precision that was better than a human. Waymos drive extremely well. This is going to be very tough competition for uber and tesla. $uber $tsla $goog

From today's “@CBSSunday Morning": Here's my story about @Waymo self-driving taxis, which have now driven 50 million miles without a single fatality. Smooth as silk, same price as Uber, in 15 cities by the end of the year…. But are they too creepy? youtu.be/mLSnFlE5R8U?si…

@criticalurban @CompletedStreet Cars are good for fast (when not stupidly congested) A to B travel, but width design will change as more designers, customers, and planners see the advantages of weather and road protected thinmobility vehicles, lanes, and parking spaces. youtu.be/gDLsYwYdCDE

We have more mobility than at any time in history, driving 10 billion miles a day, but @completedstreet thinks your mobility is a waste of space. Since cars are bigger than people, streets should be bigger than sidewalks. This guy is completely unqualified to be a planner.

@banfsd @GerberKawasaki @RickWWoodbury Excellent. A car driver’s license is all it takes to drive it. It’s currently street legal as a kit car. Here are the size metrics from the information packed website: commutercars.com/specs.html

@gbrulte @Waymo Great tech. Best next @Waymo step is skinny cars, lanes, and parking spaces research and development for zero, single, and double occupancy trips to significantly reduce congestion. 39” wide Tango intro: youtu.be/qTI1PLBtycU?si…

@DanielPink Working on a pre-Olympics DARPA-like challenge in LA to demonstrate human-width cars, lanes, and parking spaces work best in crowded metro areas resulting in far less traffic congestion. youtu.be/qTI1PLBtycU?si…
Advice welcome.
