The problem is that these people spent the last dozen years making as many White men as possible pay, regardless of whether or not they "helped the political right." If you shoot your hostage, you no longer have any leverage. The Left did exactly this and is now shocked to discover that a significant number of White men would rather be their public enemy because they've seen how they've treated apolitical bystanders who "just want to be left alone".

A 13 year-old boy was assaulted in front of his family as they were leaving the Toronto Islamic Centre after prayers. As a dad of a daughter the same age, that angers me to the core. Another member of the congregation was reportedly punched as they were walking home. This is the same mosque that was targeted with racist and Islamophobic remarks and violent threats earlier this year. Our city’s Muslim community, along with the Jewish community and all communities, must always be able to practice their faith, be who they are and come together, peacefully and safely. I’m committed to continue working to build bridges and understanding. I have also been calling for all laws to be fully and effectively enforced to protect our communities from harassment, intimidation, hate, and violence. Let’s support the Toronto Islamic Centre’s congregation and let them know we stand with them. Ramadan Mubarak.

You run out of water because the taps don't work and the water is contaminated anyway.
Your grandmother gets picked off by a 14 year old trying to prove himself.
You hear about a nearby neighborhood getting torched and everyone getting put in a mass grave.
Foreign mercenaries and governments aiding your enemies and leaving you to starve.
It's not just you and your buddies running ambushes and raids. It's dirty. It's vulgar. It's animalistic. It's total war.
The sides won't be clear cut, either. Think about how divided the right already is. If you can't even build coalitions to fight gun control laws how are you going to build a coalition to fight your enemies?
We're more likely to see massive infighting within the right than we are to see everyone unite.
Then the left will do the same.
And then everyone will be fighting everyone else.
Civil wars are rarely two-sided conflicts. They are quagmires of disparate groups killing each other and their enemies relentlessly.
You should look to Syria if you want to see what a civil war in the US would look like. 13 years and over 500,000 dead, over half were civilians.
I understand the anger and frustration but violence is an absolute last resort and shouldn't be talked about lightly
I have been proposing we do what the left does to push their agendas like coalition building, protesting, and being a legal nuisance and instead I have been getting edgy edgelords and justifiably upset people calling for violence.

Dangerously Hot Take: Jessup is the antagonist of the movie, but he's completely right and the moral of A Few Good Men is a big part of why the military has such a problem with mutiny, sabotage, and malingering.
The military is not a frat house or social club. It is an organization that exists to kill the enemies of the United States and break their stuff. Military units require hard men able and willing to follow orders, suffer brutality, inflict harm, and work as a team.
Historically, that means strict rules, harsh punishments, unit-enforced standards, and a troop-based immune system that weeds out weak links in the team that could get everyone killed.
In A Few Good Men, Santiago is blatantly writing letters to anyone with influence offering to "trade information" for a transfer. The real Marine it was based on, Alvarado, was salty that conditions at Guantanamo Bay weren't very comfortable and the information that he offered to "trade" was an accusation of an illegal shooting by his comrades—which was never substantiated.
This is not some super uncommon thing. Bad troops will make up all sorts of things to get out of doing any real work. I worked with several Santiagos. I had to do Article 15 paperwork on Santiagos. By the time I left the military—nearly ten years ago already!—it was becoming very challenging to do *anything* to deal with Santiagos.
Bradley Manning was a Santiago.
Bowe Bergdahl was a Santiago.
Whoever set the fire aboard the USS Ford is a Santiago.
Our military is now dangerously full of Santiagos because we've neutralized the immune system against it.
Civilization depends on the implicit threat of violence and the military is where those threats are made good. Nothing maintains unit discipline and cohesion like the occasional good old fashioned beating.

The study in question claimed that black babies died more when cared for by white doctors.
Not only was that finding spurious and disappeared when controlling for low birthweight infants, it DID find that white babies died more when cared for by black doctors.
They were well aware of this, and an audit of the original manuscript showed a comment where they intentionally chose to downplay this because it “did not fit the narrative.”
Wokeness went through academia like a fucking freight train and produced some of the most god-awful bullshit since the inception of the scientific method.
Much of it has never been corrected in the public consciousness.
This paper, for example, was cited by everyone’s favorite low IQ Supreme Court justice.
