Video posted in January 2024 shows cornhole star Dayton Webber loading and firing a handgun. Webber is accused of shooting and killing 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells in Maryland before driving off with the body in his car. The American Cornhole League has released the following statement: “The ACL is aware of the reports regarding allegations involving Dayton Webber. This is an extremely serious matter and our thoughts are with all those impacted, including the family and loved ones of Bradrick Michael Wells.” “At this time, this remains an active legal situation. We respect the judicial process and will not comment on specific allegations or details while proceedings are ongoing.” Video: daytonjwebber / YouTube

NEW: Quadruple amputee professional cornhole player accused of murdering someone before driving off in his Tesla. Dayton Webber, 27, who has no arms & legs and was featured on ESPN, is accused of shooting 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells during an argument. "Police say Webber was in his Tesla SUV when he shot Wells in the passenger seat," a local report from Fox 5 said. "He then pulled over and asked two backseat passengers to help pull Wells out of the car. They refused and got out of the car before calling the police." Webber then allegedly drove off with Wells' body in the car. It's completely unclear how Webber was able to fire a weapon, considering he doesn't have fingers. "It’s early in the investigation, but there’s no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone," said Diane Richardson, Charles County Sheriff's Office. Webber faces first and second-degree murder charges. Video: ESPN

Eric Conn wrote an article in Nov of 2020 explaining why his podcast was named "hard men podcast" (now named "brutal american podcast"). It ends with a very interesting quote 🥸

@Joseph_Spurgeon @not_our_guy The book, “The Grace of Shame” is one of the most helpful books I’ve ever read in understanding and ministering to men who struggle with homosexual and effeminate temptations

@not_our_guy It’s a great quote and you should read the book it is from. It’s not being crude but dealing with the truths from natural law.

My 15yo son wishes to become a writer and has been writing off/on since he was about 12 or 13. This weekend he shared with us a poem he wrote in a couple of hours. It was good, like really, really good. Edgar Allan Poe style and quality. More to come, I'm sure. He's encouraged.

@JoshDaws For example, “the Heavens declare the glory of God.” Even the most stanch cessationists agree with that.

@JoshDaws I think God speaks most clearly through His Word. But he also speaks through everything else. The living part is not the actual words but the fact that God is living and active through His word. I think He can use human words to bring to light aspects of His truth.

Okay. Serious theological question. If the word of God is living and active does human writing share that attribute?

When you come out of the home office and find the wife and son in the middle of dissecting a cow's eyeball, you just might be a homeschool family. This is also the next to last dissection.

@SowerProject7 @CherylSchatz @sola_chad What's sad is you believe God puppets all creation, yet you attempt to argue as if we're not puppets, but rather beings with free will and agency. You don't live out your beliefs, and instead cling to a heresy instead of submitting to the truth. This is what is sad.

@SowerProject7 @CherylSchatz @sola_chad If Calvinism is true, then it's because God is sovereignly decreeing me to be so. "for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints." --1 Corinthians 14:33 Thankfully Calvinism is not true.
