Another was helping me think through a chart Peter Steinberger posted about AI cost observability.⁣ ⁣ This is the part of AI agents people are underestimating.⁣ ⁣ Go look at AI content on X right now and a lot of it is still, “here’s how my assistant schedules my calendar.” Useful, but that's not where the real business value compounds.⁣ ⁣ We built /goal commands inside our agent system so agents can queue work while you sleep. They pull from tools like Metricool, Stripe, and Mixpanel, turn the data into hypotheses, score those hypotheses into experiments, and feed the results back into the next run.⁣ ⁣ Then I can jump from a cost observability thread to the Beat Claude challenge to a diagram request using our in-house design file, all without leaving Slack.⁣ ⁣ This is what operators should be studying.⁣ ⁣ And it gets really interesting when agents stop being isolated assistants and start becoming a multiplayer operating layer for the entire business.
