Today, our team welcomed @umbc students to City Hall. The students heard from @mayorbmscott, @zeke_cohen, MONSE staff, and partner agencies about the work we do to serve Baltimore. Great to speak with the next generation about the value of public service!

This morning, Director Mavronis joined @buildiaf1 and residents from North and Northeast Baltimore for the ribbon cutting of Turnaround Tuesday's brand-new hub at Govans-Boundary UMC.

Our team was in Greenmount yesterday with @jobsbaltimore helping bring employment opportunities and other resources to young people in the area.

Together, we’re working to provide access to jobs, resources, and support that strengthen our community and co-produce public safety.

Yesterday, we were in the Upton community connecting residents with employment opportunities in partnership with @jobsbaltimore and The Journey Mental Health & Wellness.

Have you or do you know someone who has been impacted by trauma and violence in Baltimore City? MONSE’s Victim Services team is here to help. We work with our partners to provide wraparound supports responsive to individual needs and ensure no victims fall through the gaps.

Through daily outreach, mediation, and connecting residents with resources, the team is helping create stronger pathways for safety and opportunity in neighborhoods across the city. Real progress happens when communities lead the change. Together, Baltimore keeps moving forward.

2026 is about momentum. Safe Streets Baltimore continues the work of showing up, building trust, and helping resolve conflicts before they turn into violence.

Yesterday, Director Mavronis joined Team Enough Baltimore, Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence, @delegatebmn, and @JHU_CGVS to testify in support of House Bill 197 – the Comprehensive Community Safety Funding Act.
