@ChandlerBing_12 Schitt’s Creek and Brooklyn 99 are excellent. Shrinking and Ted Lasso also fantastic but not quite sitcoms in the same way.

There hasnt been a single good sitcom made in the past 15 years, Let that sink in, Friends, Seinfeld, The Office, Frasier, Scrubs, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family all pre 2009 starts, The industry should be ashamed of themselves.

@SqueakyLJR It’s not the 05 causing issue it’s more the Libre sensor giving wrong information and telling pump to suspend when it shouldn’t

The Prime Minister says he wants 75% of four-year-olds to be 'school ready'. He's right to highlight the issue: Britain faces a child development crisis that will have severe social & economic repercussions. So what's happening to our kids? A 🧵1/ @GBNEWS gbnews.com/opinion/child-…

@BeverleyMiller5 @miriam_cates @GBNEWS School ready doesn’t mean writing in sentences. It means age-appropriate skills like having enough language to be able to ask for help, play with friends, use the toilet, get their coat on, use cutlery, have enough focus to listen to a story, and follow simple instructions.

@miriam_cates @GBNEWS So this should be ample evidence that 4 is too young to start school. It's supposed to be 5 anyway. Start them the term after their 5th birthday instead of bellyaching 4 yr olds for not being 'school ready'.

@MaertensDanny @miriam_cates @GBNEWS I do agree, but at four years old they enter reception, which follows the play-based EYFS curriculum. If we started school at 6/7, I fear we’d still have children unable to use the toilet, have an articulate conversation, or hold cutlery properly.

@miriam_cates @GBNEWS Stupid fixation with thinking that 4 years old is an appropriate age to start full time schooling with an academic bent, when they should be doing play based learning.

@CathyMo41926708 @Inevitablewest I know a couple who are first cousins. They’re in their late 60s. Totally lovely normal couple I didn’t know for ages. Three adult kids.

Of course it isn’t Islamophobic (ideology/woke word). In the U.K. Western society has not had first cousin marriages in practice since the 1930’s and then the numbers were tiny. First cousin marriages IS considered to be inbreeding. If you practice this way you are unlikely to be of British culture and have not integrated into our ways of life. British Law must be abided by or if you don’t like it or can’t live by it, find another country that suits your needs.

@NotFarLeftAtAll Nope. Listen carefully. It is etched in her mind but to make sure she was as clear as possible she read what she wrote to her friend at the time, deciding the incident verbatim.

My kids think it’s gross that hubby & I used to put ice cream in Coca Cola as kids. Guessing it was an 80s/90s thing? Or, was it a Scottish thing? I think it was called a float.

@Lucy_Webster_ @Accessorize My 13 yr old went into superdrug to buy some feminax. The guy behind the counter wouldn't sell it to her. Her granny was beside her and said il buy it... he wouldn't sell it to her then either because he knew it was for the 13 yr old!! She was livid!

I’m designing this logo for a church that wants the concept of a tree (symbolizing life)growing out of the cross. I have the design down but am trying to nail down the best font for the design. Which do you like best!? I love partnering with small churches to create a fresh logo!

Seven years ago today I flew from Chicago to Los Angeles to catch a screening of CALL ME BY YOUR NAME. When the film arrived at this scene I was transfixed by every word that Michael Stuhlbarg says in this scene. The outpouring of love and empathy moved me deeply, and still does.
