@devolverdigital @JessAtHome_ So that’s how you do it - just don’t specify the timezone. Smart :)
English

@JessAtHome_ Take the rest of the day off but be at your desk at 7AM tomorrow and plan working through the weekend.
English

@DanielSitarz Thanks, if you record it please do share - I would love to watch ;)
English

@GamewithDave Wing Commander: Privateer, want to make my own version someday...
English

@BeanJuiceStudio And what if someone did try it, posted hundreds of videos and no reaction at all.
What would be your advice? Keep posting into the wall and hoping that one video eventually breaks this cycle or do something else?
English

@SwarmMeGame That sounds more like excuses to me! Regardless if your game is marketable or not, you should start building your audience and learning that skillset. It will 100% help, everyone starts in the same place. Make hundreds of videos, learn from them, and you'll be surprised:)
English

@BeanJuiceStudio Oh, so you had an audience before started making games, that's a huge bonus.
Maybe you have some 'spare' players for my next playtest as I always struggle to find players to try my silly games that could give me early feedback that is very important at that stage :)
English

@SwarmMeGame Also depends what you call success, but I wouldn't be making games full-time if It wasn't for short form content! I've posted hundreds of videos, and before starting game dev I was a full-time YouTuber with 450k subs with half a billion views:)
English

@BeanJuiceStudio Because I had nothing to play :)
But if seriously - I love to create and sometimes just must build something, games is what I love playing and creating.
English

@sensational965 I just started, so my only achievement is releasing a steam game :)
English

@GamerQueenDiana YESS! :) had a lot of fun during their decade of development with that game, now I can only play modded versions, though.
English

@EnderRaccoonVT Let me know if you would like to try minimalistic horde survival game inspired by Kino der Toten :)
English

And we keep growing! I hope I keep finding all the #indiegame enthusiasts who want to see awesome indie games with me. I’ll keep putting in the work to support #indiedevs wherever I can and I’ll be at the 1234 subscriber count before you know it 😊

100 #indiegame scientists have joined me in the lab!! Our journey is only just starting guys, it makes me genuinely so happy to share indie games with you guys every day. Eat some trash and do some science for me to celebrate 🎉🥹
English

@kitty_cruiser @RohanKarMooN Yeah, this is why I am just trying to find few players who like my game and then try to involve them in my next game, then the next one.
Maybe someday there will be enough players not to worry about where to find early playtesters for my new games and get quality feedback :)
English

@SwarmMeGame @RohanKarMooN Yeah, distribution is basically the whole game now building is often the easier part. The tricky bit is getting consistent exposure without burning out or relying on ad spend.
English

I'm so tired of these kind of slop being covered by big media outlets when there are so many better indie games coming out recently. I'm thinking of covering indie games and share with y'all to try, what do you guys think?

We Gotta Go is a new co-op game about reaching the only bathroom in a haunted mansion before you poop your pants. 💨💩🚽
English

@UnityCodeMonkey I would say you don't need a lot of money to make games, but it will never be free.
Unless someone else is paying for hardware you use, electricity you need, and physical location is also rent free.
And I am not even counting hours needed to learn and work that is lost income :)
English

@evolve_pr How so? In my opinion, timing is not important (well, the sooner the better).
What matters most is content - you must put your game out in the public the moment you have something to show off that fits your definition of 'finished game quality'.
English

@BeanJuiceStudio If someone uses their time to follow your work, judge it in any way, and feel the need to give you any kind of feedback then it already means that they care more than most.
English

@GamerQueenDiana Crafting, exploring, surviving, zombies, 7, blood, moon :)
I thought it's a very popular game, sold over 20 million copies :)
