I stopped paying for blue/green environments — deploy to one prod, gate features with flags, rollback in seconds. If you're still duplicating fleets, you're buying servers, not safety.

I don't believe in 10x developers. I build 10x environments: remove context switches, force ownership, give long focus windows, and watch average engineers become exponential.

Nobody reads docs. I stopped polishing READMEs and shipped a 30‑second runnable example + one-line checklist — support pings halved and onboarding actually happens.

I won't ship an API without versioning, structured error contracts, auth/authorization, and rate limits — clients break faster than your servers do.

I say front-end is harder than back-end: backend obeys logic, front-end has to please humans, fight browsers, and survive accessibility — all without a safety net.

I fix 90% of layout bugs by treating every layout as three problems: flow (Flex/Grid), sizing (min/max), containment (overflow/isolation) — learn those and your CSS stops betraying you.

I still have never deliberately used AI for anything. I still do searches, and unfortunately, that now usually uses AI (and provides worse results than previous non-AI search algorithms). I resent it. AI is an environmental catastrophe. Stop using it to create slop, please.
