500 followers. I started this account to build in public and hold myself accountable. No viral posts. No shortcuts. Just showing up every day, shipping code, fixing bugs, and sharing the honest story behind it. 500 of you decided that was worth following. That means a lot. Now back to building. 🚀 #buildinpublic #indiedev #solofounder #indiehacker

For agentic systems founders and dev tools founders: People do not want to pay for raw markdown and they shouldn't have to. But they may pay for orchestration, hosting, updates, collaboration, portability, analytics, and managed execution. These can be great businesses.

🚨 Do you understand what Claude just dropped.. you can now give AI an entire project.. your files.. your instructions.. your context.. and it stays on your machine.. not in the cloud.. not on their servers.. on YOUR computer import an existing project in one click.. or start fresh.. and it remembers everything about that project every time you come back the same week Bernie Sanders grilled AI about stealing your data.. Claude just shipped a feature that keeps everything local.. your files never leave your machine whether that's coincidence or strategy.. the timing is insane
Claude@claudeai

Projects are now available in Cowork. Keep your tasks and context in one place, focused on one area of work. Files and instructions stay on your computer. Import existing projects in one click, or start fresh.

Get. Things. Done. Many years ago, in one of my earliest board roles, I was assigned to the board’s marketing committee. Every meeting followed a similar pattern: the head of marketing advised us on what he was doing, and my fellow board members and I would tell him what he was doing wrong and what he should do instead.  But quarter after quarter, none of it ever seemed to get done.   Looking back, I now see that our meetings were basically drive-by-shootings.  Show up, pepper the VP with ideas, and leave. Figuring out what the organization needed to do was easy.  The hard part, I leaned, was figuring out how to actually get it done. That simple insight has not only shaped my approach to every board I’ve sat on since, but it has also shaped my approach to my start-up work as well – and particularly to the way I treat the people working for me. It’s simply not enough to know what to do – the harder part is figuring out what it will take to get it done – and then making sure that the resources are there and the roadblocks removed. In the movie Oppenheimer, Lewis Strauss informs one of his advisors that  “Surviving in Washington is about knowing how to get things done.”  It’s no less true in Silicon Valley.

I'm a big believer in open source, especially as AI improves. It was a miss to not mention the Kimi base in our blog from the start. We'll fix that for the next model 🙏 Their team clarified our usage was licensed in the tweet below. x.com/Kimi_Moonshot/…
Kimi.ai@Kimi_Moonshot

Congrats to the @cursor_ai team on the launch of Composer 2! We are proud to see Kimi-k2.5 provide the foundation. Seeing our model integrated effectively through Cursor's continued pretraining & high-compute RL training is the open model ecosystem we love to support. Note: Cursor accesses Kimi-k2.5 via @FireworksAI_HQ ' hosted RL and inference platform as part of an authorized commercial partnership.

I’ve been analyzing the algorithm for a while now It’s safe to say that follower count means nothing It won’t affect your reach, but will only just the quality of your posts So if you’re a small account, this is FANTASTIC news I wanna meet new creators, who’s around?

I have noticed something weird about how I use AI. My first prompt is always my best. Clear with full context that generates great output. But then I keep going…
I always get a little tired, frustrated, and impatient and my prompts start getting worse. More rushed and less precise. And then I blame the AI.

Claw3D is officially open source. And you guys are already going crazy with it. 225 ⭐ 41 forks I’ve already seen some of the things you’re building… and honestly, this is wild. Going open source was the best decision I made. I hesitated… but it’s already paying off. Claw3D is going places I never imagined. If you haven’t yet: Clone it. Break it. Build something cool. 👉 github.com/iamlukethedev/… Let’s build the future of AI workspaces together 🚀

this is nuts! Mark Cuban just said something every young person should hear. AI agents are GOING to run through every small and mid-size business in the country. not a single one of those owners will know how to build them. his advice is to learn claude. learn agentic workflows. just learn AI and how it works. then go to these businesses and help them because they won’t know how to do any of this shit. they have money to spend. they have deep problems. they don’t have you!

Looks like it’s confirmed Cursor’s new model is based on Kimi! It reinforces a couple of things: - open-source keeps being the greatest competition enabler - another validation for chinese open-source that is now the biggest force shaping the global AI stack - the frontier is no longer just about who trains from scratch, but who adapts, fine-tunes, and productizes fastest (seeing the same thing with OpenClaw for example).
Lee Robinson@leerob

Yep, Composer 2 started from an open-source base! We will do full pretraining in the future. Only ~1/4 of the compute spent on the final model came from the base, the rest is from our training. This is why evals are very different. And yes, we are following the license through our inference partner terms.
