I mean technically, everyone had to live with the threat of dying to tetanus, but they also had to live with the threat of being cooked by a gamma ray burst from outer space

You almost make a good point but clearly don’t underhand ISO, Aperture & shutter speed & the difference between doing photography during the day vs in the absence of the suns light. With an open shutter which is necessary to capture the light from the stars all objects foreground & background with be blurred or streaked if in motion.

Now this picture is actually physically impossible to capture at 18,000 mph. This requires an open shutter which with any movement or disturbance will mess up the entire image. No getting past this. This is a test of our intelligence. All the stars should be streaking similar to a normal timelapse taken of Polaris in the opposite direction the “space craft” is moving.

@punorod @nikicaga There is another problem. There is limited bandwidth for training surgeons and to bring more accredited Universities "online" to handle more training is anything but easy. Getting accredited is very, very difficult, costly and time consuming.
