@wholemars @Carvana I sold my 2022 Model Y to Carvana. No issues. Gave me more than any else including tesla and carmax and no issues with the check. Smooth easy process.

Has anyone ever sold a car to @Carvana, deposited the check, and then had it bounce after the car was already given to them? 😳

@SawyerMerritt Not a bad strategy on their part. Take news that was really hot 6 months ago and post an article about it. I bet it gets clicks which is their goal. Just look at the sawywer repost as evidence

You're only 6 months late to this news 😂

JUST IN: Tesla targets $8.5 trillion valuation with performance-based pay package for Elon
English

@SawyerMerritt More likely it was California trying to keep the plant shut down during Covid. Not the Fuck Elon tweet.

Gavin is acting like the leaders in California didn't have a heavy hand in driving Elon away....
Gavin Newsom on Elon Musk in new interview: "One of the great disappointments. It breaks my heart. I got one of the first Teslas off the line. I've been one of their biggest proponents. It was regulation that created the conditions that allowed him to take the risk to become the multi-billionaire, or trillionaire, that he's become."
In May 2020, then-Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez posted, “F*ck Elon Musk,” to which Elon replied, “Message received.” Tesla started building their Giga Texas HQ soon after.

@TJTheWheelDeal And when TJ says “performs” - that means how much Revenue and profit they produce. Or at least that’s my definition of “performs”
English

A company will ultimately be judged by how it performs, not whether some people like or believe in what they are doing.
It really feels as if very few understand something so dang basic.
It doesn’t matter in the end what Michael B thinks about Palantir or their valuation.
It certainly doesn’t matter what Kris or the goofy looking analyst thinks about SOFI.
These companies will be judged based on performance. It always ends up being a meritocracy of sorts when it comes to investing.
Mag 7 didn’t turn into the Mag 7 bc they sucked up to anyone. At some point, reasonable people couldn’t deny their performance or impact they were making.
Relax and it’s ok for people not to like the companies you choose to invest your $ into.

@TJTheWheelDeal The winners and losers and AI are not yet clear but still I would make the investment.

the best thing my parents ever did for me was give me a PC when I was 5 years old and let me use the internet in my room
Freyy@Freyy_is
dear apple, the iPod needs to come back. not for nostalgia. for the parents who want their kids to love music and audiobooks without a browser, social media, and the whole internet attached to it

@TJTheWheelDeal Sometimes you’re printing. Sometimes you’re not. But you’re usually collecting premium either way.
English

Sticking with my stocks. Sticking with my strategy.
Sell puts
Sell calls
Collect premium
Roll when it makes dollars and sense.
Just a matter of time before I find the sweet spot and we will print again.
This jumping around from stock to stock and strategy to strategy just ain’t my game.
Do you!
I got us :)

Anthropic just pulled the oldest trick in SaaS pricing.
I pay $200/mo for Claude Max. My limits have been noticeably worse this past week.
Now they announce 2x off-peak usage for two weeks. Sounds generous.
But here’s what actually happens: limits quietly drop, a temporary 2x makes the reduced limit feel normal, the promo ends, and you’re left at a baseline lower than where you started. You just didn’t notice the downgrade because the 2x absorbed the transition.
These AI plans are massively subsidized. The raw compute behind a heavy user costs multiples of the subscription price. Every move like this is the subsidy quietly correcting.
Very sneaky, Anthropic.
Claude@claudeai
A small thank you to everyone using Claude: We’re doubling usage outside our peak hours for the next two weeks.
