I was having one of the worst endometriosis flare-ups before I was diagnosed, and I was barely holding it together in the ER. I was told I'm just faking it to get drugs. I said if you think that then don't give me anything for the pain and just do the tests I need. They watched me in agonizing pain for hours without giving me anything to ease my suffering. My mom was also there confirming I've never had a drug problem! It didn't matter.

I say no to epidurals under all circumstances. I gladly endure the pain. Epidurals contain an opinoid, fentanyl, 50-100x stronger than morphine that CROSSES THE PLACENTA causing mild fetal sedation, reduced fetal heart rate, weaker fetal breathing. We must protect our children.
