Went to the Broadway Market today because mayor was attending a ribbon cutting for a new business. Owner is member of Bangladeshi community. As I waited for the event to start, an older white man walking by comes up to me and asks if “the Muslims” have “taken over” already.

I look forward to working closely with Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul as she takes leadership of our state and I have full confidence in her. 2/2

I am extremely upset with the recent MTA and Port Authority decision to close the E-ZPass Service Center on Staten Island. This comes not only as a disservice to Staten Islanders, but particularly those who work at this center, over 300 good paying union jobs.

NYS has known for 6 months it would be getting billions in federal aid for rental assistance. The process for distributing this $ should have been in place a long time ago. So many renters and small landlords could have already been helped. So much pain could have been avoided.

A great day in Niagara Falls to announce a new, state-of-the-art visitors center. I am proud to represent the nation’s first state park and one of the most important attractions in #WNY. Grateful to the @RCWJRF and my partners in the community for making this needed investment.
