Strengthening data visualisation capacities of the Parliament research staff is key for evidence informed decision making.@IDinsight @ZeipNET_ZW are partnering in strengthening the data analysis and visualisation capacities of the Parliament of Zimbabwe research staff.

We hosted a #webinar on 30 October 2024 entitled: "EIDM Processes: Seeking Transformation for Improved Impacts." According to the discussion's guiding model, specific skill sets were pertinent for evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) practice. However, the main takeaway from the discussions was that capacity development initiatives shouldn't focus on just one or a small number of skills in any given intervention. Instead, the focus should be on complementing abilities that facilitate change and impacts across the various subgroups within the ecosystem. #Africalovesevidence #AfricanEIDM #CapacityDevelopment #Impact #WeekendReading

During the #AfricaEvidenceWeek2024 celebrations, we promoted and showed twenty-four #Twitterchats! We highlighted incredible organisations and participants from all around the continent who demonstrated their innovative approaches to evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM), highlighting the resilience, diversity, and vibrancy of the continent's #evidence ecosystem. By placing young people at the forefront, we also recognised diversity in the #evidence ecosystem, fostering a collaborative future, and recognising the achievements of young and emerging leaders.
