@JohnWathenBerry @dave2482 Seems useful to me. It's a bit hard to get a live horse to lie down and fake an injury while vets practice the treatment steps. Mannequins are part of medical training and practice for humans too; I learnt CPR on a mannequin, but it's also part of professional development.

@dave2482 £65,500? Because using real horses to learn how to handle and deal with horses is too obvious? Shouldn't this press release have come out next Wednesday?

Beckhampton Gallops today 🌞

@goracinggreen @Fizzbw Grey is dominant so requires at least one grey parent (a horse that’s not grey doesn’t carry the gene). The base colour of thoroughbreds is either bay or chestnut. Foals are born their base colour, and if they’ve inherited the grey gene from a grey parent, they gradually go grey.

@_RozKay @WeaverRacing British farmers and their sons and daughters don’t seem to be interested in having a couple of mares or pinhooking foals. Rural Britain is a bit if a puzzle to me, you would imagine they would be all over it🤔

After three days, the scores on the breeding doors are: 10 winners bred in France 10 bred in Ireland 1 bred in GB The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association has tried to change the balance of power over the years but it clearly hasn't worked.

@WeaverRacing Ok. What measures were being taken then? I was thinking of the more recent GBB scheme - early days yet for that in NH

@_RozKay You are clearly patient. About 10 years ago it finished 14-14-0. Many members of the TBA at that time had horses trained here in France. Robert Waley Cohen still does.
