@trq212 I thought you’re not an engineer. Curious to know what you use Claude code for?

a prompt I've been using a lot recently: implement <SPEC> and while you do, keep a running implementation-notes.html file (or markdown) with decisions you had to make weren't in the spec, things you had to change, tradeoffs you had to make or anything else I should know

Announcing a new Claude Code feature: Remote Control. It's rolling out now to Max users in research preview. Try it with /remote-control Start local sessions from the terminal, then continue them from your phone. Take a walk, see the sun, walk your dog without losing your flow.

@victor_bigfield It’s definitely now an engineering marvel. But, it has reached “too big to fail” status. And so many people contributing to it the number of features are kinda amazing

openclaw is cool, but the hype feels disproportionate to the technical leap under the hood, it's mostly an orchestration layer on claude code with autonomy + api calls. useful, but not a paradigm shift. the real frontier for ai agents is: - reliability - eval frameworks - constrained execution - reproducibility wrappers won't solve that, but the builders working on these hard problems will change my mind

@MaximeMB_ Back when I first used it. You had to properly use it in order to get something meaningful out of it. Nowadays you can prompt like a troglodyte and it will still be able to blow your mind.

@melvynx This will just slow things down. Haiku exists for a reason. You don’t need sonnet or opus to generate auto-fill suggestions in your terminal

PRO TIP: Unlock the biggest update for your Claude Code now: 1. Go to .claude/settings.json and add this: "env": { "ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_HAIKU_MODEL": "claude-sonnet-4-6-1m", "ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_SONNET_MODEL": "claude-sonnet-4-6-1m" } 2. Use /model to switch to Sonnet Enjoy a 1M token context window and build an entire SaaS without auto-compaction...

This is Claude Sonnet 4.6: our most capable Sonnet model yet. It’s a full upgrade across coding, computer use, long-context reasoning, agent planning, knowledge work, and design. It also features a 1M token context window in beta.

Hi everyone, wanted to share something I have been working on for a while. Its an app that helps you prepare for coding interviews from your phone. Building intuitions about what patterns and algorithms to use for a particular problem is the hardest part of leetcode. This app helps you train just that.

Folks, please don't build bots that automatically reply to stuff on X, or use AI to reply. It makes this site annoying to use, I can barely keep up with the blocking. If you use AI to "tweak" your real replies, it will still smell like AI. Embrace typos and imperfect grammar.

@alexcloudstar I agree to some extent. You should understand the codebase deeply, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing to have a codebase completely generated by ai
