@simonhancock_uk @mroller98 @ESPNcricinfo We need an opener for England , Crawley has to be dropped . It would be unfair on Jamie to ask him to open for England before he's had a chance for Somerset though . Hopefully they both have an outstanding county season just not against Yorkshire please.

@simonhancock_uk @mroller98 @ESPNcricinfo I don't think Somerset has any worries there just fantastic keeper bats , most importantly both can play as specialist bats what a problem to have . I think Smith will start this summer but J Rew looks close to test level to me.

My kind of trivia. 😂 When Devon Malcolm got 9/57 against South Africa at The Oval, who was the bowler who took the other wicket? @MichaelVaughan I think it's more about attitude and fitness with Robinson. No one doubts his actual ability but we need him at 83/84 mph at 11 am and 6 pm not suddenly 75 mph. Matt Fisher deserves to be looked at , Cook just looks to medium pace for me , struggling to hit 80 mph is an issue .

Ollie Robinson .. Matt fisher .. Sam Cook .. England need a consistent tone setter .. all 3 will be in the frame ..

Zak Crawley currently has 64 test caps, how many will/should he finish his career on?

@rs_3702 I think he will be given the opportunity to start the summer against New Zealand . He looked shot by the end of the ashes and his technique looked wrong getting clean bowled through the gate etc. If a change comes I would expect James Rew to come in.

No at the moment. Time for him to go back to County and work upon his weakness (especially the bat and pad gap one). James Rew instead of him
