@BigJetTVLIVE Great news. I think it’s very wise to have a good long rest, back to fitness steadily, aircraft spotting will still be there when you’re back to full fitness.
We’re happy to be able to let you know that Jerry is home. He was discharged from hospital on Friday evening. One of the first things he did on Saturday was to check the equipment, he wanted to do a stream yesterday but thankfully realised it was far too soon! We did a little drive around @HeathrowAirport with our members and it was wonderful to see Jerry slip right back into avgeek mode, even if it was only for a short ‘road-trip’!
We want to thank you all for your incredible support the past few weeks, it’s very hard to put into words how much it means to us both. It’s been so valuable as we navigated the devastating complications he suffered following his heart surgery. Thank you just doesn’t seem enough ❤️🙌
We’d also like to thank the cardiac and neurology teams at St George’s @geshNHS and the stroke team at St Peter’s @ASPHFT for taking good care of our Jerry ❤️
Now we focus on his recovery so he can get back out there sharing our love of aviation with you all.
“Slowly, slowly catchy cruiser” ✈️

@KateFantom Had a customer with a Jag diesel. Persistent dpf issues. He went back to Jag. They honestly found the fault quite quickly. He hadn’t bought a Petrol…
My neighbour’s Merc GLC has done 34k.
This is the 3rd time I’ve had to do a forced regen for him.
It’s already had front discs and pads, rear pads, DPF pressure sensor along with all the normal servicing. And it used a mind bending £18 of diesel over 22 miles to empty the DPF.
What is this micky mouse bs.
Here we go! The gorgeous Lotus Europa (Type 47).
An all graphite study of the stunning Europa, which is 60 years old in 2026! Now feels a fitting moment to draw one for the first time.
If you’re a @lotuscars fan, or know somebody who is, this A3 sized piece is £295+p&p

@antburrows@LittlemanT16@ShamiKalra Thanks Anthony!
Dave (Dude!) has been very good to me and has a few pieces of mine, the legend 😁
(You’re a legend too!)
@ScarbsTech Re-enact the sedan race that saw Senna and prost and co driving 190e's.
Pick a track, have a manufacturer provide the cars, assign them at random and make a day of it. Could be epic. Then sell the cars for charity.
Should the Saudi/Bahrain races be cancelled. It seems it's unlikely we will get replacement races.
I think #F1 should organise a test/s in the intervening gap in the calender. It certainly looks as though a lot of teams could do with more development/track time 🤔

@HillF1 F1, the pinnacle of Msport. I watched the F2 race. Unless this race really performs in a way no one expects, I’d suggest F2 will become a far better watch.
It would be a FAB 105th birthday pressie for WW2 vet Colin Bell to get his memoir BLOODY DANGEROUS into bestseller list.

@TheBishF1@WhiteHouse I see Trump and I remember the early 80’s film The Dead Zone. Trump obviously is a fan off the first three quarters of the film and probably fell asleep for the last quarter. Scary how he plays the part so well
@WhiteHouse You used to be the government of the land of the free & the home of the brave. Yet now the world is laughing & crying: laughing at your puerile showboating & crying about your awful death fetish.
@StaffsPolice School Coach parks on the Pavement, on the Zig-Zags during the exclusion times, who would be the best person to complain too?? Oh, already tried driver & coach company & school.
EVEN A BLIND SQUIRREL finds a nut once in a while. BTW, YOU overlooked the part where the U.S. has sank every single Iranian ship AND a single torpedo sank Iran's most praised warship. First time since WWII has a torpedo been used to sink a warship. Furthermore, the loss of this facility pales in comparison to the losses incurred by Democrats and Joe Biden in the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF EQUIPMENT left to the enemy. Democrats suffer from altered realities.
🚨 HOLY HELLLLLLL: Iran just took out a $1.1 billion radar at the most fortified US base in the Middle East with a single missile.
THIS IS BAD!!!
That radar was the backbone of ALL US missile defense in the Gulf. Every Patriot. Every THAAD. Now operating blind.
Qatar intercepted 101 missiles during this conflict. Two got through. One hit the only target that mattered.
This is asymmetric warfare in one sentence: Iran has to succeed once. We have to be perfect every time.
We weren’t.
The US just promised Navy escorts will protect Gulf shipping lanes. But if we couldn’t protect a $1.1 billion radar inside our own base — What are those escorts actually guaranteeing?
The petrodollar runs through a Strait we can no longer credibly protect.
One missile just changed everything.
We are attending a wedding in the summer, the groom just told me one of the guests has responded to the RSVP saying,
" I require vegan food and I would like the same to be served to everyone on my table so I do not have to watch dead animal carcasses being consumed"
Marc Kennedy just won a gold medal.
While Canadians celebrate, the rest of the world, especially the Scandinavians, says Canada’s win is tainted.
They say the sport has been permanently tarnished by the Canadians.
What do you think? 🥌
@deloreancars@OCDaboutCars The only item that can be rectified during the test is headlamp aim. If it is adjusted to the correct position it will still be failed. This is known as ‘Pass repair at station’ It will be registered on system as a Fail. It is not obligatory to correct during the test.
@OCDaboutCars They're explicitly and uniquely allowed to adjust the headlight aim as part of the test. Ask them why they didn't.
My Tesla failed on beam aim only because my lot couldn't work out how to adjust it. They did it for free after I showed them.
One thing that's always bugged me (pissed me off frankly, as I think the garage scammed her) is that I bought my Citigo at 5k miles from the son of an elderly lady who'd died.
On its very first MOT, the garage failed it on headlight aim, only to be corrected 1k miles later.
