A couple of days ago, I finally released Spending Sensei, an app I've been working on for the past few months! I just tried @rork and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. It can't one-shot an app yet (at least not the one I prompted it to build), but it's pretty close in my opinion

@seraleev Is there any actual benefit to removing your apps from the App Store (if they have no running costs)? I feel like it's better to leave them and get an occasional download or even a sale from time to time

From your experience, is it worth localizing your apps and their App Store listings, or do you stick to English only?

While I understand that the flood of vibe-coded slop makes App Store review take longer, it’s still a pain in the ass when they reject your build for something minor that you can fix in a minute, only to send you back to the end of the line to wait days for another review

I released my first app in 2019. Finally, after more than 6 years, I received my first money transfer from Apple 💰. It feels awesome to actually make money from the apps you create. Hoping I won’t have to wait another 6 years for the next one 😆

Month later, the App Store ratings for Zoney have finally stabilized. There’s hardly any movement now I’m getting 2–3 downloads per day, definitely hoped for more, but I’m not complaining. The lack of US ratings is a major obstacle, so I’m trying to figure out how to get some

If I were starting iOS development today, I’d learn the fundamentals first. AI is powerful, but only for those who already know how to code. Small projects are easy. But when things get serious, like payments and users, you’re responsible for everything.
