NRS Reassures Stakeholders: National Single Window Not Taking Over MDAs’ Roles The Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Zacch Adedeji PhD, has assured stakeholders that the National Single Window (NSW) platform is not designed to replace any Ministry, Department or Agency (MDA), but to enhance collaboration and efficiency. Speaking at a press conference held on 24th March 2026 at the NSW Support Centre in Lagos, Adedeji described the NSW as a unified digital platform that integrates processes across agencies, eliminates duplication, and promotes smarter, faster, and more transparent trade operations. He emphasized: “The National Single Window is not taking any MDA’s job. It is simply creating a coordinated system where agencies can work smarter, faster, and more transparently.”

I just heard that Enugu and Anambra are leading in the application for the South East Capital Funding for startups and businesses, which the South East Development Commission (SEDC) is organizing. Ebonyi state has the least application, followed by Imo and Abia. Everyone who owns a business in the South East should jump on this. We are talking of N70 billion to fund startups owned by umu Igbo! Here’s the website to apply👉sedc.gov.ng/programs/sevcp…

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has rolled out new standards to guide the implementation of the Competence-Based Education & Training (CBET) across institutions of higher learning, marking a significant shift in Uganda’s education sector. One of the key requirements under the new framework is that formative assessment must account for at least 50% of a student’s overall evaluation. That formative assessment includes courseworks, tests, practical exercises and project work, all which are critical in equipping learners with hands-on skills. #GCICMediaReview #OpenGovUg

Actually, if you’re from the top 10%, I don’t see the reason for you to agitate for anything, unless you’re supporting the main people affected. The people who are affected should put on a fight first because, guess what? If you fight for them, you’ll be stranded.
blaakbaki@bodybyzedd

When I say, doing freedom fighter or activist in Nigeria (when you’re not from the 1% class) is self sabotage, y’all think I’m saying rubbish. Fight for nigerians at your own risk , your family will cry for you and nothing will happen.

Abia Daily@myabiadaily·
HELLO! The Abia State Government, under Governor Alex Otti, has partnered with CSS Global Integrated Farms (a leading agribusiness firm based in Nasarawa State) to establish a large-scale, mechanised, and integrated commercial farm in Abia. This initiative seeks to shift agriculture from subsistence to modern, high-efficiency production of crops, livestock, and value-added processing, thereby boosting food security, reducing import dependence, and driving rural economic growth, particularly in areas like Bende LGA. Key elements include the 2024 sponsorship and training of about 300 young Abians (with 298 completing the programme) at CSS Farms, followed by interest-free loans to help them establish enterprises; official visits and site assessments by CSS delegations (including consultants Eric Alao and Victor Umunnakwe); and formal government approval to replicate the CSS model in Abia, with land mapping already underway as of early 2026. The partnership is expected to create direct and indirect jobs in farming, processing, logistics, and agro-value chains while modernising practices through technology transfer and ongoing capacity building. It complements broader industrial efforts, such as the Ultimum Ltd plant in Aba (commissioned today 25/03/2026), as part of Otti’s vision for an agro-industrial hub in the state. #InvestInAbia

@myabiadaily What is our governor doing in the agriculture and livestock farming industry? Can we set up a ranch on PPP to actualise the dream of our father MI Okpara that birthed Obudu cattle ranch? Beef and milk and leather are big businesses. We must get our slice of this global economy.

Among those present were his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; and former governor Olusegun Osoba. Tinubu had earlier returned to Nigeria following a series of diplomatic engagements in the United Kingdom. He subsequently traveled to Lagos, where he observed Eid-el-Fitr prayers at Dodan Barracks. During his stay in Lagos, the President held multiple political and official meetings, including hosting 23 state governors such as Biodun Oyebanji, in what observers described as a strong display of political unity.
