They’ve already put their own names and faces out there and haven’t shied away from press conferences or interviews. So fear of being identified clearly isn’t the issue. @GuntherEagleman Yes—there were a few retractions (Daily Beast, HarperCollins UK, Carville). That’s public. But retractions happen when claims can’t be substantiated—not because everything is magically ‘proven false.’ That’s basic defamation law, not the victory lap you think it is.
