Signalstörung, Stellwerksprolem, Oberleitungsstörung... keine Hin- und Rückfahrt mehr, ohne dass mindestens eine Fahrt um drei Stunden in die Länge gezogen wird. Das sind nicht mehr nur Probleme mit der Infrastruktur, das ist kurz vor dem Zusammenbruch. @DB_Bahn

Google's new policy if you want to enable AI features: "Please do not include sensitive, confidential, or personal information that can be used to identify you or others" Pretty soon this will be stuffed into the T&Cs of many cloud-based apps, that you agree to implicitly.

After years of using #rlwrap, I've just learned how easy it is to implement filters to modify the input and output of the commands. Perl support is available by default, and Python support can be easily installed. Better late than never. 😅

Shout out to my Oracle licensing friends. I read a lot slides & blogs that Refreshable PDBs are also legally available with Oracle SE2 but the Oracle Feature/Licensing app ( apex.oracle.com/database-featu… ) says otherwise. Any ideas? Is SE2 with refreshable PDBs legal? Thx 🙏

Pro Data Guard tip: Whenever you implement Data Guard in a Multitenant architecture, ensure there are no saved PDB states and control your PDBs and services via srvctl. This will save you some headaches with PDBs and services starting on the standby when they shouldn't.

For those using EMCC 13c to monitor standby databases - check number of sessions for configured monitoring credentials, in my case EM creates 2 new every 4 hours leaving existing ones open(!). Created SR, Bug 36519995 was opened and fix should be included in OMS RU 23.
