Today, we mark Good Friday, a solemn day of reflection, faith and sacrifice for Christians across Ontario and around the world. As we reflect, we are reminded of the enduring importance of compassion, humility and hope.

The antidote to war? Peace within. It is near impossible to mount war when you bathe in the gift of peace. To cultivate peace within requires a burning desire to know one's self. That requires the study, practice of self knowledge: to know what it means to be fully human.
