Those denying Meghan’s suicidal thoughts - it is an absolute disgrace. Such ‘I don’t believe it’ is why people don’t speak out about mental health, why they suffer in silence, feel shame. We need to be better than this.

@_craigstanford @_patmurray In an earlier version of iOS there was a noticeable frame loss at some point during the animation. Even my phone couldn’t stomach that exercise ring.

@cocoaphony @dimsumthinking I loved the episode about flexible frames where they state it took them hours or days to figure it out fully. At an instant it made me feel less dumb about it and grateful that they did the hard work so I don’t have to!

@dimsumthinking As a teacher, I'm very jealous of their style, and inspired to be better by it. Incredibly vulnerable, showing the uncertainty and mistakes of real programming, coupled with deep insights that tell me I have something to learn. The opposite of "and here's the finished cake!"

I'm sure I've posted this already, but if you're not watching @objcio, you really need to be. Even for things I think I already know, I come away understanding it at a much deeper level. Their SwiftUI series keeps taking me from "huh?", to "ok…", to "oh, that's probably good."

@danielpunkass @_oho I think I used @_inside’s WWDC app to download the videos at least. Not automated, but not arduous either.

Does anybody have a go-to recommendation for bulk downloading all the WWDC 2020 videos and slides? I usually use @_oho's wwdc-downloader, which hasn't been updated for 2020 (no shade intended! - I might update it if there isn't another simple option).
