The SEC couldn’t handle modern Texas Tech. This was even before our latest ELITE recruiting classes and ELITE transfer portal classes.

Does the 2030 major realignment move up because of this? Would imagine the SEC would want Clemson, FSU, UNC before this goes down which we all know has a trickle down effect. Does the Big 12 reconsider Memphis’s offer?

If this bill passes (which I don’t think it will) any current Power4 team would remain a P4 team forever. I think that’s the biggest reason the SEC/BIG10 oppose this is because they want the flexibility to go make their own super league in the future if they want to.
