Nate the Hate says a new Nintendo Direct is coming in July AFTER Donkey Kong Bananza releases. Should be some good announcements & release dates for games like Metroid Prime 4, Splatoon Raiders and Kirby Air Riders.

Just now got the low battery warning on my switch 2 pro controller for the first time. Had the system a month lol.

@CultureCrave I'm not really hopeful for this. Their best work is when they focus on quality, I don't want to see that get sacrificed just to fit a shorter dev cycle. If they can make it work then I'd be interested to see what comes out of it, though!

Nintendo is going to explore making games with shorter development cycles to counter rising development costs 🎮 They're also investing in their development teams to preserve the way they've traditionally made games

@LonelyGoomba Being digital thanks to the bundle, Free Roam might be the kind of place I'll be playing during the entire Switch 2 lifespan. So I don't have any hurries in finding everything just yet.

I haven't played Mario Kart World in awhile. I'm honestly waiting to see if Nintendo provides quality of life upgrades to the single player. It's probably the least I've played the major Nintendo launch game in many system launches.

@krishnugget @Stealth40k I think a great side piece game is why its the perfect launch title (switch 2 is the fastest selling console ever mind you)

@developRHUNT @Stealth40k You are entirely right, it’s a side piece game, which is why I really don’t think it was the best launch title as compared to BOTW where it was something you could sink dozens of hours in that first month

@norfair846 @krishnugget @Stealth40k Meh, i dont think free roam is meant to be played for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. Just a break between racing. I think the world is plenty big and what it has serves those needs. But of course there could be more. Hopefully some dlc updates

@developRHUNT @krishnugget @Stealth40k Free roam challenge are not that interesting and everything else can be does in less than 25hours Game needs some changing and more online content. Like choosing real circuit, patching the overkill bagging and buff/nerf some item

Major DUH moment. So, for a couple months I've been trying to build a Steam deck version of Twisted Tower that runs at a stable 40-60. I've been banging my head against a wall. You wanna know what I was doing wrong? I was building a Windows version. This apparently uses some kind of wrapper or something. Causes major hitching and frame drops. I built a Linux version and it runs at 60 - 90 fps! WHEW. That said, I do have to disable Realtime Shadows. I think that's just going to be the way it is for an indie game like this one
