@HospDude @FixingEducation There are no consequences for kids anymore. You have no idea what you're talking about.
English

@FixingEducation Projecting blame. Kids will conform to standards. Happens in many schools who have courage and expectations. Parents are challenging but it’s become the cop out for the educators being weak here

@AlbertBreer If you're from here you already know that there is no accountability in liberal Massachusetts. Dems love criminals and will protect them at all costs.

I’m closely monitoring the situation on Memorial Drive. @MassStatePolice are on the scene and working alongside local law enforcement to investigate.
There is no ongoing threat to the public. However, residents and commuters are strongly encouraged to avoid the area to allow public safety personnel to do their work.
Grateful to first responders who worked quickly to keep people safe and secure the scene.

@TedDanielnews It's Massachusetts, this is not remotely surprising. All of us who follow laws and work hard are penalized with high taxes and government overreach while criminals are embraced and treated like royalty.

BREAKING: Boston 25 Sources identify the man who fired at law enforcement on Memorial Drive as 46 year old Tyler Brown.
A Tyler Brown with the same birthdate previously shot at Boston Police Officer in May 2020.
Then Suffolk DA Rachael Rollins put out a news release in 2021, criticizing the Judge who sentenced Brown in that case for only giving him five to six years in state prison and three years of probation.
Rollins said: “I strongly believe that the sentence we proposed – 10 to 12 years followed by five years of probation – was appropriate for the level of brazen violence committed. Of equal concern is the imposition of concurrent sentences for a prior and separate violent assault on a different member of our community.”

@P_Kallioniemi There is no draft. It's called selective service. Men register when they're 18. Women wouldn't know because they can't get drafted. I never heard them complain about that though. Dumb twat.
English

@NYSportsFanCush Still an irrelevant franchise. You aren't winning anything.

@NatPurser Stupid post. They want to live their version of the lives they want. Not get spend hours in traffic or deal with toxic office politics. This all based on your opinion and personality or lack of. Things can change. It's ok.

@DamienPetersNBA Green is not a hall of famer. He's a role player who averages a triple single. This is fucking ridiculous. Please stop.

All these things can be true in the Draymond Green-Austin Rivers situation:
- Rivers was incredible in High School and College, he was better than Green during that portion of his career
- Green had a substantially better career than Rivers as a pro
- Green is lucky to have been drafted by the Warriors
- The Warriors were lucky to have Green too
- Green is an all-time great defender and worthy of the Hall of Fame
- Rivers had a long career because he was a very talented basketball player, not because of his dad
- Green’s numbers probably would have been better if Steve Kerr called plays for him
- It wasn’t in the Warriors best interest for Steve Kerr to call plays for Green
- Basketball needs both of them to analyze the game, not each other

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A.
If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club.
If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club.
If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club.
But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club.
You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club.
What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.
