@the5krunner Yes, all four of my #ConnectIQ apps and fields will be shortly available on the @Garmin Instinct 3 AMOLED watches, including #dwMap for maps/routes. On the Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E watches, all except #routeCourse will be supported.

@dynamicwatch I Have looked at a few of these data fields recently. They are plagued by poor Garmin Compass Heading data, the arrows point all over the place. Worse on watch than Edge when cycling. - does this DF smooth the heading by gps and/or mag compass?

@the5krunner Yes in my #mapField route display data field, and #dwMap full map/route app I use the same approach of using GPS movement, not compass data, as it just works better in practice.

Awesome. I'll have to try it out. When I use Garmin FR's maps the screen is always rotating all over the place...very unhelpful (nothing to do with your DF). I'm still usure why people do'nt complain about it to Garmin...hey ho

@the5krunner I compute the user's heading from GPS movement, not the compass. Seems to work well, and when I watch it on my Edge it does not jump around. Harder to watch on a watch than on a handlebar mounted Edge, but on the watch it means it does not jump around with wrist movement.
