The Geneva Convention says it’s a war crime to target journalists, even if they work for an enemy organisation. It’s also a war crime to target medical workers. After the killing of 3 Lebanese TV journos last week, several medics coming to help them were killed as well.

Yesterday my wonderful friend Paul Conroy ⁦@reflextv⁩ died of a heart attack. After years taking pictures and reporting in some of the world’s most dangerous places, he was visiting family in Devon. All of us who knew and loved him are devastated. He was 61.

@sstrangio I went to see that bridge. It is undamaged and traffic was flowing normally. Thailand has not reported any air strikes in that area. If a Thai plane did drop bombs they did not hit anywhere close to the bridge. But people here very frightened and many IDPs left camp at Srei Snam.
